This must be the place

This one of the best stays we’ve had in years. The owner was amazing with communication with us and even allowed us to check in a day early because we got our dates wrong. The house was super beautiful and the best part was super close to the pool! Highly recommend staying in this house.

The check in was ok. The reps there were not that welcoming but then again it was evening so maybe quitting time. The property overall was nice. The townhouse was ok. Somewhat dated but overall adequate. There are minor fixtures needed but the home met our needs. We really enjoyed our stay

I appreciate the owner for letting me and my family stay here. There were a few things I can complain about which was that we seen a few roaches here and there. The bed downstairs fell down the boards were moving. There was a crack in the downstairs room door. Also there was no trash bags, sponge, extra toiletries, or any dishwashing detergent. Otherwise the stay for me and my family was great we enjoyed the house and the amenities. It was to celebrate my son’s birthday.

Florida trip

I appreciate them for allowing us to stay here first and foremost. The experience was great, I can even appreciate walking in to Tissue, soap, dishwashing liquid and essentials to start off our vacation. They even have a selfie wall in the house for pictures. TVs in all rooms is something you don’t usually get with most houses and each room had TVs with remotes. Will consider staying here again next year!

Wrong pass code received, no access until next morning.

Sadly we could not avail of our booked facility the first night. I had indicated late arrival, was not aware no contact was possible until next morning. We had to book a hotel out of pocket. This was very frustrating and disappointing. The unit was ok no outside seating at unit…. and it is in need of updates

Upon arrival they gave us the wrong code we had to wait outside until the office contacted property manager for correct code and king bed fram is falling apart and there are also roaches I contacted management and no reply

Horrific. Extremely dirty and full of cockroaches.

This house is absolutely filthy and full of cockroaches. When we arrived, my family went swimming at the resort pool while I spent an hour cleaning because the house was so dirty, and then I saw the cockroaches. They were in the fridge, in the dishwasher, in the upstairs bathroom, under the counters, and came crawling out from under the couch! The main floor bathroom sink is cracked and rusted, the upstairs main bedroom closet door is broken, and the main floor bedroom door has a big hole in it. The coffee pot was still dirty and full of coffee grinds, and the toaster was full of crumbs and cockroaches. Someone put baking soda all around the fridge and in the cabinets. The carpet is so grimy from dirt buildup, and the floors were unwashed and disgusting to walk on. The bedsheets smelled and looked dirty. We didn't stick around to check! The remotes for the TVs didn't have any batteries in them, and the house smelled. Please don't stay here! I have photos to back up everything I just posted. VRBO should be ashamed this is on their site for rent, Evolve is well aware as I sent many of the photos to them. I also was in contact with the "property manager", Paul who also has photos of the disgusting state of the property.

Rundown and Unpleasant

We've stayed at units in Regal Palms twice before that were excellent from a different owner. This property was rundown and poorly cleaned. The entryway and living room reeked of weed and the upstairs smelled like stale smoke for the majority of our time there. Especially unpleasant experience for kids. The upstairs queen bed was fine, but the other beds were old and had zero support, especially the king. Cleaning was subpar--one twin comforter had what looked very much like a male-created bedroom stain, the toilet bowls and undersides of tub fixtures had mildew growth, the downstairs bath had dark sink stains and the tub wasn't too pleasant, the living room couch had no cushioning and a piece of it sticking out the back of one section, and at least two of the three toilets stuck open when flushed. Amenities were extremely limited, with no toilet paper but did have nice bath and hand towels. While the kitchen had no paper towels or spices (like salt), it did have plenty of plates, flatware, cups, and cooking items. Would NOT rent from this owner again or recommend a unit from them. They should either try staying in this unit for a week, using all the rooms, or hire a higher quality property management company for cleaning and maintenance. Beds and couch definitely need to be replaced.

Repairs needed

Family vacation to visit theme parks. When I booked this resort it had a 10 rating. I wish other reviews would have been up. Check in process was easy. Upon arrival, we were met with a property that had cleaning issues. We also only had two washcloths for our party of eight. They had someone come a few hours later to bring toilet paper, washcloths, soap for bathrooms etc. If this would have been only issue, I think this vacation would have been fine. But, the property needs to be stayed in by owner. The upstairs bed is worn out and you both roll into the middle. The downstairs queen is like an under inflated air mattress. The upstairs beds are like lying on plywood. We attempted to sleep on couch , but you could feel the rods when lying on it. The toilets upstairs leak all night. After each use, you must stick your hands in the back and manually push the phalange down. The ice maker hangs up on crushed ice. The downstairs bedroom vent barely pushes airflow, so it stays much hotter. Pictures show dresser in downstairs bedroom. It’s not there. Looks like pictures were from initial purchase of home, likely when it was staged. Its kitchen table and bedding does not look like that. Unfortunately, after paying to stay here, we decided to leave and go stay somewhere else. We were offered back our cleaning fee. But we had to pay for another place to stay. No resolution to the problem of the home. I feel someone should have reimbursed us for the time we left early at minimal.
