Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you found the place nice and clean. We appreciate your note about the road. We hope to host you again in the future!
It was a short, one night stay, but we wished we could stay longer! The place is exactly as described, comfy beds, and super cozy vibes. Upon our arrival there were deer everywhere - and there is a bucket of corn to feed them. I actually live in Wimberley, but had family from out of town so we decided to do a little staycation. I want to come back on a random weekend just to relax in a home away from home. 10/10!!!

This was a cute little property with deer that would come up daily. It was also close to all of the swimming locations that we wanted to visit.

Was a little hard to find and dirt roads but it was a quiet stay. It rained while we were there. Was fun seeing all the deer.
Very thorough communication, loved them being easily available through text or call if anything was needed! Had lots of extra little amenities so you didn’t have to worry if you forgot anything! Over all a cute and cozy little place to stay!

The accommodations were very unique and well thought out. The television instructions would have been helpful.
All the pictures are pretty accurate. Idk why this doesn’t have a better rating. Yes the road is horrendous to get through BUT it’s worth the peace and quiet of its location.

This property was great in everything it had to offer EXCEPT for a strong foul odor of sewer.the moment we walked in until departure. 💔💔💔
It’s such a cozy little place to stay. We had to go to San Marcos and the distance was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved turning the little fire place heater on and watching movies. The road is a little rough but manageable. We drove our regular SUV and made it down the road just fine, no bottom outs. After a few trips down the road we were pros at making it a smooth drive. The kids also loved going to the top of the tower and looking out. I woke up early and watched the sun come up, it was beautiful and peaceful. No loud noises or traffic. Over all it was cozy, clean and looked exactly as it shows in the pictures.

The good and bad
The rental has a .3 mile unmaintained class 5 road with holes and bumps and it would require a truck or jeep not to bottom out
The property is not close to Wimberley if you’re looking to walk our take a bicycles Thus you are forced to drive a truck in and out of the property
The good is the property it self is as advertised.

Sewer sewer sewer
From the moment we opened the door, instant smell of sewage! Unfortunately with the smell SO bad it made the entire stay bad! The place could be a nice place to stay if it didn’t smell so bad. Also, the road to the property is deplorable! We were going to bring our little sport car on this trip, thank goodness we didn’t. There would have been NO way to get to the house. A truck or SUV is required to get down the road. Will not stay here again.
