Hello and thank you for your comments and review of "Casa Cassaretto". In your arrival package, there is an information sheet which gives the code to the boat room, in order to access the boat oars, life vests, etc. That information is also posted on the refrigerator. Hello Margot, Thank you for your review. We appreciate that and are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Upon arrival, we ask all our guests to report any issues right away so that we can take care of anything that might impact their stay. So, in regards to the cobwebs, we could have sent the housekeepers over to take care of those. I believe that this home has "zone heating", so I am not sure why some areas were colder than others. It is typical for the loft, which is usually the highest level of the home, to be warmer and the lowest level to be cooler, since heat rises. It is also possible that some of the vents were closed on the lower level or open on the upper level, in which case they could have been adjusted to force the heat into the areas that needed it. I have to say that in all the years we have had this home on our vacation rental program (we also had this same home with the previous owner), we have never had anyone mention the height of the beds being a problem. Each of our homes are individually owned and we manage them for the homeowners. So, we do not have other types of beds available to swap out, etc. Might I suggest that, in the future, you make sure to ask about the beds prior to making a reservation, so that your parents don't have difficulty.
