Arrive to the property after a 14 hour flight 9 pm to find out the host cancelled my reservation without notification. VRBO costumer service was a long wait to reach, and ask me to provide proof of payment with bank account details for refund of service and booking fees, which I thought they would be able to see. I had to book a last minute hotel for that night, I was not provided assistance with booking the next stay. I am very disappointed.

Good location poor quality
Our holiday started with a negative check in experience with the flat not being ready and poor communication with the property management. The carpets in the rooms were dirty as was the look of the furniture in the living room. Needs serious maintenance! The flat looks very nice in VRBO.
We did enjoy the location in Camps Bay. Very convenient and walking distance from restaurants.

A very poor experience by VRBO standards
This is a dated property, with interior cosmetic improvements. that sure looked good on the listing.
Beds are a single mattress on wooden slats that did not stay in place, so mattress sloped to middle. Camps Bay is a very windy area, and this unit was very noisy with howling wind noise and loud banging noises on the exterior. We tried to sleep with ear plugs. There is no television service, other than your ability to login to streaming services you may subscribe to. The living room TV had no power connected to it. There was no air conditioning, and doors/windows loudly slammed shut when windy. There were no wash cloths provided for bathing.
