There is something in your review that I would like to clarify. You stated that you would’ve liked to be able to “control the thermostat and be able to open the windows” I feel like there has been some kind of miscommunication as I communicated to you upon check-in that the thermostats were remote controlled and that I just needed to be contacted anytime of day to change it for you. The A/C was running for your entire stay. Also you were most definitely allowed to open the windows. The only thing communicated to you was to not open the windows while the A/C is running which is not unreasonable, otherwise the house would not cool. Unfortunately during your stay there was one of the worst July heatwaves we’ve ever experienced here so it was incredibly hot! I would’ve gladly changed the temperature lower to make it to your liking if I would’ve been contacted about it. Thanks again for staying at our property."

We shared your feedback with the homeowner, and they wanted to clarify the following:– We understand that having to request the hot tub to be heated felt inconvenient. We’ve since posted signage that the spa closes at 10 PM so guests can plan accordingly. Our goal is always to be helpful and available as a courtesy, which past guests have appreciated.– The A/C is controlled off-site to prevent temperatures from getting too high or low, and we’re always happy to make adjustments upon request. – We recommend starting by opening the windows and using the ceiling fans to enjoy the fantastic cross breeze. If you choose to use the A/C, please keep the windows closed, as the system automatically turns off when windows are open.
