Cheerful 3 bedroom cabin with indoor fireplace

We do appreciate the overall short feedback. We've spent significant effort to decorate the cabin for Christmas and created a lovely ambience. We are sorry to hear that we could not transfer that feeling to you and your family. However, we did run into a few hiccups along their stay. The guest have turned on the AC (in the winter), the moister was dripping on the floor and could not operate the fireplace with clear instructions on the back door. We do have a septic tank and we've highlighted in the washroom the that the toilets need extra diligence due to the nature of the septic system. Unfortunately, the guest run into hiccups with tthe toilet as well. This was the first time since we are renting experienced a clogged toilet which required some effort tby the cleaning personal to unclogg it. In addition, I was informed by the cleaning company that they have had to spend additional time and effort to clean the place. I'd not recommend Joan and their family for other VRBO hosts. Hi Grant, I am sorry to hear that I could not provide you and your family a better experience. I’d have loved it to to it. Within the posting I’ve indicated that the bunk bed rooms opens front the queen bed room. In terms of the fan, our cabin was built quite a while ago and is extremely challenging to install a fan in the 1/2 bath; however we can look into that. When it comes to the BBQ we do our best to keep it in a great condition; however it’s not that easy as this is one of the item that is used a lot and depreciates is value fast. Our neighbour is super quiet and barely home and our previous guests have never brought this up as a concern. Please let us know if you have experienced a concern. I wish I could have provided you and your family a better experience and perhaps I could provide you access to the shed to avoid taking the bikes inside the home. Hi Cheryl, I am sorry to hear that you've had such a disappointed experience. I've reached out many times in advance and after you’ve arrived and I've not received any questions other than you were not able to turn on the tv to watch Netflix (at 9.30 PM and responded within 1hour and offered to help at 10.30 PM over phone with no response at all ). Let me try to respond to your questions line by line or item by item. Cabin: I can confirm that there are 2 units in the cabin; however, it is still a standalone cabin (no host living on the premise or nearby) and I believe the single tenant in unit 2 has not caused any unpleasant experience. Generally, he is not home or super quiet and no noise is coming from his side. We have not received any complain about this in the past 2 years. It’s a bit strange that you call it a duplex even though you’ve had the cabin experience and it was no discomfort received. I’d be greatly appreciate if you could adjust this section. River: We have never mentioned that our cabin is on the river. I wish it would be on the river. Probably a cabin on the river is not at this price range. I'd appreciate if you could remove this section as we’ve never advertised it. 3rd bedroom: I've made a note in the posting the 3rd bedroom opens from the 2nd bedroom. I'd love to expend on this more; however, VRBO has not designed this option to be able to be more descriptive. We do appreciate the comment; however, I'd appreciate if you could revise this section as the current statement is extremely harsh and does not includes our posting details. Freezer/ fridge: We have minimal food in the fridge and some food left in the freezer. I've sent you the instructions on what to expect throughout your stay see email and note in VRBO including personal items (again this was communicated); however, I've not received indication that you'd bring food and frozen food for 3 families for 6 days and you'd use every inch of the fridge and freezer. I'd have happily moved this out if you'd have given us a heads up. I’d appreciate if you could indicate that we did communicate this in advance of check in and we have not received any response on this. I'd like to emphasis that it's still a cabin (even though it has 2 units) and we do receive feedback that it’s a true cabin experience. Overall, for 3 separate families I believe you’ve received a great value at our Cabin with 2 units and I believe the posting you’ve made is extremely unfair. I’d appreciate if you could adjust or remove your posting to reflect actual facts (i.e.: cabin on the river, personal items with heads up email, cabin with 2 units vs. duplex, etc.)
