The Fosters

The accommodations were very nice and comfortable. We really enjoyed being able catch a sizable number of fish from the covered boat dock on the property. We intend on visiting the there again in the future.

Wonderful time at the lake

Lovely spot. Private and quiet, well appointed and spacious kitchen. Could use some better internet, and some nice outdoor chairs to sit at the water. Would be nice if a simple Kayak or Canoe to use too. Will be back!

Awesome house. Loved spending time on the dock! Great place to unplug! House is very well stocked. You feel "at home" as soon as you walk in the door! Will be back for sure. 4th time at Toledo bend, best house for sure!

Property was private and beautiful. Everything was provided for a comfortable long weekend getaway. Close to state park and boat launch. Close to restuarants, grocery store and tackel store. Great communication with property manager. Susie went above expectations to make sure we had everything we needed. Will keep this property in our list of favorites for future stays.

Relaxing and Adequate

The site manager was honest and excellent when communicating. The home was dated and many amenities were not functioning. The location was quite and relaxing. However, the cove we were setting in had a low water level and fishing was not good in the immediate area. The pricing was fair, in line with the accomidatinons. I would recommend this lake home for a guy's trip but, not family (wives).

Shannon, thanks for staying with us! We are sorry you experienced a few issues during your visit. - We are sorry that the oven gave out during your vacation. We do provide a countertop convection oven that is big enough to bake a cake in, and a toaster and a rotisserie oven as backups. We have scheduled repairs on the oven which will soon be in the process! We are sorry for the inconvenience that this caused. - We had no recollection of the fan being inoperable in the master bedroom, we are sorry about this. We thank you for letting us know and a new fan has been ordered. - We will be looking into the fish net on the boat as we are not sure what occurred. The Wifi is up and running and working properly! Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!

Weekend Getaway

The home was clean and everything we needed was provided. The views of Toledo Bend lake and the property were excellent. The only complaint was that the internet and TV did not work the entire time we were there. I texted the owner and she said to unplug and allow to restart, and i did this 4-5 times with no results. We are huge sports fans and could not watch anything.
