Very clean & well-stocked. It certainly was an interesting layout (2 double-wides put together). There are only 2 showers in the 3 bathrooms which made it a bit crazy for my big family. I suggest that you replace the tub with a shower.......Good location for our family event.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review! We’re so glad to hear that you found the home clean, well-stocked, and convenient for your family event. We appreciate your feedback regarding the bathroom layout. While the third bathroom’s tub currently features a detachable shower head for quick rinses, we completely understand how a full additional third shower would make getting a big group ready much smoother! Thank you again for staying with us, and we’d love the chance to host your family again for your next event!

Wonderful stay

We stay at Jason and Julia’s rental for the nascar race in Brooklyn. Our group had a great time and loved the rental. Access to the lake is amazing and the house is well-kept. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay again

Great family gathering space

We enjoyed a really enjoyable weekend while gathering for a family wedding. The weather was perfect and the water temperature still conducive to kayaking and SUP use. Well furnished and very clean, it was the perfect setting for all of us.

Large house with plenty of space for 4 school aged kids, a 1yr old, and 6 adults. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of pillows and fans in every room. Our kids loved the basement/playroom. We kayaked and swam off the dock everyday. A great family vacation home!!!

In town for a wedding

Stayed the weekend for a wedding. Teenage boys loved the downstairs game room and having their own bedrooms and bathrooms. The large chair in the living room was great to sit and enjoy conversations with spouse.

Great Lake view! Really nice flow to the house. Hosts were outstanding and answered any questions we had. It was a beautiful time and was total enjoyment. Rooms were very clean, would have the cleaning crew do a little better job with the small appliances. Toaster oven and microwave not very clean. Bit a very minor thing and we would definitely come back!

Fabulous

This was a Great Place to stay, it had everything we need and more. From the time I rented the house to the time we left the owners were very helpful and guided us to what we need to make a stay enjoyable. The view of the Lake, the little Market next door and the amenities from the kitchen to the deck outside were great. We would differently rent this home again... Rick

UofM Graduation Weekend

Our son graduated from UofM and we wanted a place we could all be together as a family to celebrate and relax. This cottage provided the space we needed and was not too far from Ann Harbor to drive in when we needed for all the graduation activities. We were happy to be out of all the traffic and hastle of finding places to eat.Having the convenient store next door was super helpful - especially when I forgot to get butter at Miejer (which is only one exit away - which was also convenient as well). If we ever need to be back in Ann Harbor we would definately stay again.

Family vaca with 6 adults and 4 kids (14, 12, 5 and 2): We REALLY appreciated the host was able to allow early check-in for our visit and overall I would highly recommend the property which was much like the listing and hosts communicated well. *Plenty of fans and a/c units kept the spaces cool even with temps in the mid 80's.*Lots of beach towels provided *Kayaks, paddleboard and floaties were clutch to get out onto the water since we couldn't secure a boat*Waterfront at the house was not very swimmable - lots of thick grass (though not seaweed or algae!) collected at our seawall, and the shallow water was kind of slimy to walk in, so no one wanted to just wade in. But once you got a ways out, kids enjoyed swimming and trying to dive probably 15ft deep without seeing or feeling any seaweed!*Kitchen had what we needed to cook meals there. Minifridge and icemaker were pleasant extrasThings to note: -To get to the lower level/basement you either have to walk into the attached garage and go down stairs, or walk down the back deck stairs to the walk-out doors. There is no interior stairs connecting the two living spaces.-House is on a bend in the road with lots of cars stopping near the end of the driveway for the party store that is right next door, and this also makes using the front yard unlikely. However, the one privacy fence and the orientation of the back yard allowed for as much privacy as you can expect on lakefront.

Football Weekend with Family and Friends

Our group of 7 was in town to attend a nearby college football game. The accommodations were more than enough for the group. Separate bedrooms and beds made it convenient with adult children and friends. Nice setting with lake view. Large kitchen and dining area made meals easy. House was well stocked with games and activities, although we regretfully didn't take advantage of that, or the lake front, during our short stay.

UT Football game

Plenty of space. Right on the lake. Very clean. Great communication with the property managers. Air conditioners all worked great. Lots of extra linens and towels. Next door to a small store (very convenient). We would come back without question.
