Missed expectations

Michael is very nice and tried to be very accommodating. However, I did not find the property met my expectations from the description given. There is virtually no furniture, save for one piece of a couch, the bed, a makeshift 'dining room' table and an office chair. The space is large enough but it felt so empty. There are no windows except for a small one in the bedroom. There is no secondary exit should something untoward happen such as a fire. Michael let me know ahead of time that there were no appliances in the kitchen but it didn't hit home until I was actually in the space. The kitchen was not laid out well and although I'm sure it was, it didn't feel clean. Overall, I didn't feel that this was the place for me. I left shortly after arriving that first night. After talking with Michael, I agreed to return the next night and give it a try. However, when I arrived, his dogs were occupying the bedroom and he invited me to use the spare bedroom upstairs. I am quite a private person and not very sociable at times and when I travel I like to have my own space. This arrangement was not suitable and not what I was expecting. I did not return for the duration of my stay. I made other arrangements for accommodations. Michael is a very nice person. His accommodations were not what I expected and not to my liking.
