It was a true delight to stay at David’s place. Everything was just as he described it in the listing. It was clean and comfy and stylish—with plenty of amenities—including a comfortable bed, full kitchen, washer and dryer, a great balcony, excellent shower and free parking on-site. Communication with David was outstanding!!! We highly recommend this place. It made all the difference for us!

Cozy spot in a fun neighborhood! The penthouse had everything we needed, including a table and chairs on a balcony overlooking a quiet street. We appreciated having the dedicated parking spot, too. Be sure to walk to Nina’s pizza down the street!

Leading to our stay at David’s condo, David was highly communicative. The information he provided on the condo and the surrounding area were informative and accurate. He responded timely and responsively to our questions. He also checked in on us during our visit to assure our visit was going well. The condo is spectacular — spacious, great balcony, well-stocked, and clean. The queen size bed was very comfortable. The balcony was a fantastic setting for morning coffee or relaxing after exploring Quebec City. Keyless access to the condo is a plus. The location is away from the touristy areas of Quebec City, allowing us to enjoy those areas (a good walk or short drive), but also areas with a local flavor. We also found the nearby trails running alongside the St. Charles River to be great for a stroll. I highly recommend David’s condo.

Lovely stay in QC

We had a lovely stay at the apt- host was very responsive, location couldn’t be better- walkable to a lot of places & a good diverse selection of restaurants, shops etc. enjoyed this better than our posh hotel in old Quebec on a previous stay. The free enclosed parking was definitely a plus.

Excellent place. Clean, has everything you need and in a terrific neighborhood. We had a terrific time. It is super close to Quebec City (old Quebec) and the neighborhood is pack with youth and life. I strongly recommended. We will be back. Ahh, we slept very well. Super quiet!

Great cozy, warm place

Stayed with my wife and 20 month son. We really loved the space and felt at home. We enjoyed some great takeout, sipping wine on the balcony and watching the sunset. Also loved the neighborhood. As New Yorkers, we love to walk everywhere and the neighborhood had a lot to offer. We did find it quite difficult to walk to the tourist area with a stroller though, as this city seems to be rather inaccessible to anything wheeled.

The Penthouse was a very nice apartment- perfect for two. David sent a message the day before our arrival with great details and pictures of the doors and codes, the free 2 hour parking lot, the garage door and garage space. It was a huge help! Having a dedicated parking spot was a great plus. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The bedding and bed were very comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with very nice, tasteful items. We didn’t cook but there were all kinds of pots and pans had we needed them. We loved the full sized refrigerator and 2 different coffee makers. While the lighting was very pretty and looked great, as readers, we wished the lighting was much brighter in the evening. We sat out on the patio right outside the slider door and we also enjoyed the huge terrace located down the hall. The apartment is over a mile away from the tourist area so it is in a residential area. Some may be bothered by the nearby marginal housing and eclectic people of a city, but we were not. We felt extremely safe walking in the evening to some of the local restaurants and breweries. We are walkers, so every day we walked to and from the old town and all around. On our first day we did a walking tour which was excellent. We learned so much history of the city which gave us a true appreciation of the amazing people of Quebec City. Everyone was really friendly too! I highly recommend staying at the Penthouse! Thanks David for an excellent experience.

Newer condo complex with amenities!

First the host was fantastic! They worked with us up front to alter our scheduled dates, then was in contact throughout anytime we had a question. The condo was nicely appointed and had everything we needed. It was clean, all the tech worked well, was safe and the underground parking was a bonus for us. The location is 1.5 - 2.5 km from most of the "site seeing", which was not an issue for us as we enjoyed exploring the city. Overall I would highly recommend this location and host!

Quiet and new

We loved this beautiful penthouse on the top (6th) floor of this newer building. The decor is lovely and it is well furnished with everything you need. We really appreciated how clean it was! There is a private terrace with table and chairs just off the living room which is a nice spot to enjoy the sunshine. The soundproofing is excellent and you really don’t hear any noise inside the apartment. The elevator opens right in front of the apartment and it’s an easy access to the garage. There is a bakery and a couple of good restaurants within a five minute walk but otherwise we preferred driving to other parts of town like the arts district or old part of Quebec to do our walking. It was maybe a ten minute drive to the old part of Quebec along a direct and easy route and parking there was no problem.

Simplesment Fantastique

Je ne peux pas faire assez de compliments à notre hôte, David. Notre séjour a été exceptionnel à tous égards. Les instructions sur le condo, le parking et l'emplacement du bâtiment étaient parfaites. L'appartement lui-même était impeccable et exactement comme le montrent les nombreuses photos fournies. Il a été réactif par SMS et par téléphone et nous a fait sentir les bienvenus. Je suis absolument certain qu'il fera la même chose pour vous. Merci beaucoup!!

Code d’accès incorrect à l’arrivée au complexe

Generalement très bien. Mais améliorations nécessaires pour accéder au bâtiment (porte principale) lors de notre arrivée. Le numéro d’accès était erroné, avec incapacité de communiquer pour obtenir de l’aide. Consignes du stationnement: précisions requises en fonction de la taille du véhicule utilisé, incapacité de quitter mon véhicule à cause du manque d’espace Jean-Pierre
