Allow us to welcome you to our Hawaiian home with the warmth of our ā€œalohaā€ hospitality. We are just half a block from the beach in one of Waikiki's best locations. We actually have two charming studios, adjacent to one another, and each sleep two people.

This studio, UNIT 1, is the one pictured here in this ad. It has a comfortable Queen bed of soft linens, a full kitchen with oven, a bathroom with plush amenities and handrails. If you are a group of 3 or 4, we can accommodate your party by adding our second studio.

UNIT 2 ( which has two twin beds (able to convert them into a King bed), and is also with soft linens and plush bath amenities. It has a private lanai but no kitchen; although it has a mini fridge, microwave and a coffeemaker.

Both units are stocked full of useful amenities like Free high-speed in room WiFi, cable TV, beach towels, rafts, etc. The building has a pool and a furnished rooftop deck with breathtaking views of the pristine turquoise ocean and golden sands of Waikiki Beach, an unobstructed panorama of Diamond Head, and a birdā€™s eye over Kapiolani Park, the beautiful 300-acre sprawl of lush greenery thatā€™s home to the Zoo, the Shell, the Aquarium and many more recreational activities and island festivities. On the rooftop deck, youā€™ll relax in serenity above the bustling city, soak in the sun, find a shaded retreat, watch the sunrise and sunset, and dine under the stars listening to the soft sounds of nocturnal zoo animals or possibly a world-class musical performance from the Shell. Fun, clean and great location!

We actually loved staying at this location. Right next to a Starbucks which was great for our morning routine of having coffee in the park across the street. The ocean just across the other street - we would walk along the sand as the sun came up and the people started to come out. Dennys was a favorite midnight meal as we were off on our hours of being awake/asleep. Would stay here again!

Perfect location

Easy access to everything, I felt very safe. I was able to walk to everything and when my friends came to pick me up the zoo parking lot worked great for a pick up point with easy access off the interstate. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable place to stay. Don't expect the Hilton but worked perfect for me.

Great location. Room could use an update.

Good: location, bed was comfortable; A/C was quiet; tenth-floor patio is very nice at sunset. Nice assortment of kitchen appliances. Suboptimal: Curtains inadequate at night (room was lit up by parking lot lights); needs a side table to put stuff; water pressure was marginal for showering; some electrical plugs didn't work. If owner fixes all this stuff, this place would be great.

Waikiki Grand

We have stayed in several units. Itā€™s more or less what we expected. Nice to have stove with oven and a little bit bigger fridge than some places have. Since we stay a month we do cook. Bed was comfortable. I like all the hooks and rods in bathroom to hang things on and drying rack was nice. However I do think the bathroom needs some updating and the kitchen cabinets a good cleaning. We added some dishes as there was a lack of bowls. All together the unit met our needs for the price and location which is the best part.

A bit surprised

The pictures on line showed a bit newer renovation. The place was a bit tired and run down. Could use some black out blinds or drapes. The blinds donā€™t have full closure so bright lights shone into the room at night. We asked at the front desk about beach towels. There were none included. All other sites we stayed at had them available. The manager at the front desk was so helpful to get us some. The room smelled a little musty, too. The bathroom area could do with some organization to maximize the small space. The wall next to the tub looks a bit moldy. I am not saying these things to be hyper critical. I like to help the owners to put their best service possible. Was the room adequate-definitely. Our host was also very helpful in getting parking and answering questions. I think it could just use a bit of TLC.

Greatly disappointed

The studio was outdated and dirty with broken window blinds (all 3 blinds were broken and inoperable!), peeling paint, mold in the shower, loudest air conditioner ever, cracked countertops, no knobs on cabinet doors and drawers makes for filthy drawers and cabinets! Floors were dirty as well. We were able to check out other rooms that were beautiful and updated. This unit has not been updated since the 80s or 90s. Only the bed was new - thankfully! We contacted the manager of this studio and it took all week for him to offer us a 10% discount. We paid good, hard earned money for this room and 10% is nothing. Taking all week to get back to us is unaccectable. He finally settled on 12% saying it was all he could do. I would not do business with this manager again. His name is Mark Howard.

We had an amazing stay in Honolulu! The location truly could not be better! Just a 2ā€“4 minute walk to the beach, incredible food spots, and the zoo. Itā€™s so centrally located that everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Even a local who dropped us off couldnā€™t stop talking about how great the location was.The unit is inside the Waikiki Grand Hotel (go through the main entrance and theyā€™ll get you situated at the front desk). It appears the hotel rooms were sold as condos, and it worked perfectly for what we needed. We stayed in the queen room and found it to be clean, cute, and very comfortable. The bed was super soft, which made sleeping after long beach days so nice. The shades do let it light so bring an eye cover. The pool was just okay, so we didnā€™t end up swimming, but that honestly didnā€™t matter because the beach is right there and everything else was perfect. If youā€™re looking for a cozy, well-located place in Waikiki that puts you right in the middle of everything at a good price, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again! Water pressure good! Hot water! Very cold ac unit! Clean! Has a fan too.

Je recommande cet appartement! L'appartement est bien situĆ© pour la plage de Waikiki de l'autre cĆ“tĆ© de la rue et les accĆØs aux autoroutes pour visiter l'Ć®le. La terrasse au 10e est juste splendide avec sa vue sur Diamond Head et la plage. Nous y avons pris tous nos repas. L'appartement est un peu vĆ©tuste mais trĆØs propre. Nous avons adorĆ© le service Ć  la rĆ©ception qui a Ć©tĆ© Ć  l'Ć©coute et nous a prĆŖtĆ© des chaises de plage et un parasol. Petit conseil: Les stores ne sont pas opaques donc prĆ©voyez un masque pour dormir. Et l'air climatisĆ© est trĆØs bruyant et direct sur le lit. Donc prĆ©voyez des bouchons. Par contre, la nuit la tempĆ©rature est fraĆ®che donc nous partions l'air climatisĆ© pendant la soirĆ©e pour la fermer la nuit. Merci Ć  Mark pour son excellent service!

Vacation in Waikiki

Renting this property was a dream. It is cute and minimal but still has everything you need. Full kitchen, bed is comfy, AC runs great and it was very clean, especially for an older condo, it was really well maintained. Very centrally located right by waikiki beach, shops, restaurants and the zoon. But I'd honestly skip the zoo. It gets hot and half the animals are rarely out of their dens in the heat. Hotel the condo is in has a fantastic burger restaurant attached and a wonderful bar on the 2nd floor. The star of the show is the 10th floor sundeck. Spent every morning enjoying the view with my coffee and my evenings enjoying a drink and the sunset over the beach. Wonderful stay

Why they chose this property

Waikiki has several different areas, we particularly like this location as it is situated along the edges of both Waikiki and Kapiolani park, an area that is known to be more peaceful. Plus of course we are just 2 minutes walk from the famous Waikiki Beach, The Honolulu Zoo and the outdoor Shell Theater (live local entertainment many weekends) is just a leisurely 8 minute walk also.
If you are coming to Golf, The Ala Wai Golf course is 5 minutes. away.
There's really no need to rent a car when staying at our location, both UBER & Lyft ride sharing services are available on the island, plus we offer a great low fixed rate on getting you back to the airport when your vacation comes to an end, ask your guest host or check inside our welcome book for details.

Convenience stores and full grocery stores are all within easy reach. Plus we have two really efficient delivery services that collect from local restaurants and deliver to your suite if you feel like being pampered.

What makes this property unique

As well as everything you've already read, We have a full coin-op laundry facility located on the lower level easily accessed by either of the two elevators.

Should you feel like a manicure or massage at any point during you stay? There are massage services available on the second floor and a nail and beauty boutique located on the first floor.

If you are coming for a special event such as 'proposal' or anniversary, let us know when you are booking if you would like our in house concierge to arrange something to greet you loved one such as flowers, chocolates or cuddly toy in the room upon arrival, almost anything can be arranged at minimal additional cost.
