Great getaway from it all

Wonderful place is out far enough to be a quiet getaway, and yet close enough that you have access to anything you need. Most major attractions in the area are close enough to have a day trek and still get back to relax from it all.

The cabin was really cute. Not ideal for kids or pets as the stairs are to steep.

My Teen Volunteer South Dakota

We came from South Dakota for the Miss Teen Volunteer America Pageant. We enjoyed the location away from the business of the city.

Great country place

My family really enjoyed the lake and had a great time fishing. Nice and quiet out in the country but very convenient to grocery store etc. Thanks for hosting my crew! My grandson says there’s a big fish in the lake and he’s coming back one day to catch him!

Great Place!

We really enjoyed our stay that we booked due to our granddaughter's wedding in Jackson. The cabin was roomy and had everything we needed. My husband loved the pond and did a little catch-and-release fishing -- even though it was lightly raining. Will recommend to friends and hope to return.

Six day stay for wedding

We stood in the loft for 6 days, 5 nights. For 3 adults and 1 toddler, the space was a perfect size. We all really enjoyed the property. We caught lots of bass and 1 blue gill

Perfect getaway spot for some quiet time

This place is so peaceful. We loved sitting on the back porch listening to the birds in the mornings. And the extra touches were nice like lotion, room spray, coffee, popcorn, and oatmeal. It had a very homey feel and was just what we needed to be still and find some solace. We would love to go back!

Very relaxing

It was a great stay. Perfect fue a writer or for just stress relief and relaxation. It was a bit cold at first but then the temperature was fabulous. I look forward to trying it again in the summer for a longer stay. Try the spot eatery. It has everything you want plus the food and atmosphere was excellent.

Family Thanksgiving Stay

My family reserved the entire Homestead for our Thanksgiving get to together. I can't say enough good about this unique place to stay. Reservation, communication and accomodations were excellent. Each cabin was clean, stocked with all the essentials, and many extras including games and WIFI. The small lake gave opportunities for the grandchildren to kayak and fish. We will reserve the Homestead for future family plans.

Wonderful little cabin on a pond.

We were in town visiting family and this was the perfect place to stay. My son loves to fish and caught a few small bass. The stairs up to the living quarters of the cabin can be a little tricky to navigate, especially for anyone with mobility issues. We had a really nice campfire one evening while sitting on the back porch. Total relaxation. Would definitely recommend staying here.

So much fun for our family!!!!! The caretaker was super sweet and accommodating. She checked on us each day to make sure we were comfortable. They keep the banks of the pond super clean so it's easy to fish. It would be an amazing place for a wedding or gathering. If u are outdoorsy you will love this place!!!! We did some "ghost hunting" with the kids. They had a blast!!!!!!

The cabin is cute but very small and the AC unit does not keep it cool. The outdoor area is beautiful and well kept. I was not pleased to find an addition 100 pet fee once we got to the cabin.
