Yes the sofa bed futon has that fold and I guess it’s because of the way all futons are 😄 We also have a three seater spacious sofa in the same living room, in order to accommodate extra guest. We’d like to clarify a few points for future guests: • Our location is one of the best in the area — just 25 minutes from the airport, close to major RV rental pick-ups, the ferry terminal, and surrounded by hundreds of restaurants with every type of cuisine. Many guests book with us specifically for this convenience. • The property is exactly as described: two bachelor units combined, with one king bed, one queen bed, and two sofa beds, making it suitable for 5–6 guests. Families traveling with toddlers may want to plan extra sleeping arrangements, but the suite offers excellent space and comfort for the rate. • At the nightly price you paid, guests receive a full two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with kitchen access, free parking, WiFi, and complimentary use of the pool and hot tub. In Vancouver, especially during summer, this represents outstanding value — far more than what a standard hotel room would provide at the same price. • The toilet flush was in good condition before your arrival, and had it been reported during your stay, we would have immediately fixed it. • Our outdoor facilities are shared and provided complimentary for VRBO guests — there are no additional fees, so it’s important not to share incorrect information. We take pride in offering comfort, convenience, and amenities at a price point that’s very hard to match in this market. While we understand not every property fits every guest’s preferences, we continue to host families and groups who value both the quality and affordability of their stay with us.

Regarding your concern, we had scheduled an artistic photoshoot in our pool area prior to your arrival. This session, conducted by university students, was carefully planned to ensure it would not interfere with our guests' experience. The students were professionals, very quiet, and used the space for only a short period. We take pride in supporting our community and encouraging local talents, as it aligns with our values and helps them pursue their goals. We believe such activities are meaningful and, when managed appropriately, should not affect our guests' comfort. We would like to clarify a few points for future readers: • For $230 per night, you received a full two-bedroom, two-bathroom independent apartment that comfortably accommodates families. At the time of your booking, the suite was listed as not air-conditioned, and pricing has since been adjusted after your stay. • Your reservation was made for 5 adults and 1 child, though the “child” was a grown-up. The listing clearly states the available bedding: one king bed, one queen bed, and one sofa bed. If additional sleeping arrangements were needed, that should have been considered before booking. • During your stay, we promptly provided extra sheets, towels, pillows, and window fans upon request, and when we noticed you using air mattresses, we even offered additional foam pads. • Regarding the pool, it had unfortunately been affected by continuous rain the week prior and during your stay. Outdoor pools can become dirty in such conditions. We had it professionally cleaned as soon as the rain stopped, which happened to fall near the end of your stay. The hot tub was clean and operational throughout, though it was your choice not to use it. • You also had access to laundry facilities, and we allowed double loads that were running for over 5 hours—something we were happy to accommodate. • Our deck is a wooden structure built around trees, which adds to the natural charm of the backyard. We regularly maintain and update it. We take pride in hosting and have welcomed guests for over 7 years. Most of our guests appreciate the amenities, flexibility, and effort we put into making their stay comfortable. The pool and hot tub are shared facilities, provided as a complimentary courtesy to VRBO guests, and are not an extra charge. While we strive to make every stay enjoyable, we also recognize that some guests may have different expectations that don’t align with what we offer. We believe our property represents excellent value in Vancouver’s summer season, where even a simple hotel room for two people can cost more than what you paid for six. Hello David First of all I thank you for choosing our amazing resort style living, home stay and taking out time to write a detailed review. I would like to commend that you seriously lack basic communication skills when we are are so responsive for all concerns. It’s a common sense that in September end we are not going to keep the swimming pool heated 24X7 so that you can come in and swim at your convenience, it would cost more than your total booking cost in just one full day of heating. Honestly if you would have communicated we would have turned the heat on at least 3hours prior to your booked time. Another concern about dishes and cookware, we have a separate cupboard in the second room, with lots of utensils, and crockery, only if you would have communicated we would have guided you. The layout of our apartment is what is loved by our guests , we have hosted over 2500 families from all over the world in this unit including other online booking platforms and this is what everyone likes, the layout of the apartment. How beautiful garden entry it has and how distinguished every room is with small comfortable steps and ending in beautiful pool view, forest view from all windows and direct entry door into backyard with pool access. I believe for other things which you just assumed and misread the description of the property is completely your understanding and negligence for which you can’t rate the property negatively, For laundry you kept our family waiting the entire day and didn’t turn up with your load which is so disrespectful. Next time try working on your communication and reading skills , try taking help from your other family member or friends. We absolutely take pride in hosting our guests who have the gratitude and appreciation for all our efforts and hospitality, and be it Vrbo, Airbnb or any other online platform, we will continue excelling in our services and keep improving with honest feedbacks from our valued customers.
