Contemporary Beach Villa In Boutique Club

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at the Split Level Villa! The Sky Beach Club owners have said they will completely resurface the driveways this spring.

This is just a guest trying to get a refund. The guest moved out after one night. Here is what the guest actually said, verbatim, in a text message to the property manager explaining their intent to move out: "Want to look at other house to stay at that is more centrally located." The only complaint they mentioned to her was, "Road is terrible." (Which is true, and is also clearly stated in the ad.) The photos are not edited, although they are several years old. And the guest never had any unreturned calls.

Thanks for the heads up! The new owner of this villa is going repair or replace the oven and cooktop, and purchase more cookware. The ad for this property warns about the conditions of the roadways in Sky Beah Club. The good news is that the owners of Sky Beach have finally agreed to completely resurface the roadways on the property. This is supposed to done soon, this winter.

We are so sorry that you encountered issues at this property. Yes, the driveways in Sky Beach Club are in very rough condition. We warn guests about this in all our ads, so this would not have been a surprise. Sky Beach Club has said they will resurface the roads. Hopefully this will happen before too many months pass. There is nothing wrong with the door locks. You simply have to lift the door handle up to release the key. The house has both an iron and an ironing board. The house does not advertise beach chairs or umbrellas, but Sky Beach Club provides beach chairs on the beach. Sonya, the property manager, reported that “When he checked in, he didn’t arrive at the agreed-upon time, so he self-checked in using the key I left in the lockbox. The check-in itself went smoothly, although I was not present. He called and confirmed when he arrived and that all was good, and I stayed in touch with him whenever he called. Everything seemed fine. The following day he called about the umbrellas and beach chairs, but he didn’t bring up any other issues. We will order some portable beach chairs and umbrellas, and we will address the other minor maintenance issues mentioned.

It is sad but true that throughout the Caribbean, plastic washes up on our beaches. The Club DOES maintain and keep clean the beach area in front of the Club. The water pressure was an easy fix that could have been handled by the guest if she reported it to management. It has been fixed, as has the oven door. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, but I have not had other complaints about the decor or the furniture. The Club pool bathrooms do need an update. I understand that is planned.
