We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home, great location, plenty of activities and space to keep the kids and adults entertained.
Hosts were great to communicate with. All positives!
We had a great time at this property. The house was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Also, the kids had plenty of games and entertainment to choose from.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Beautiful newly built house. Comfy and spotlessly clean. Plenty of activities in the rumpus room for kids to entertain themselves. Owners were very quick and responsive to questions. Would recommend this fabulous holiday house to others.
Everyone enjoyed…Kids enjoyed their time, there were lots of boared games that came with the house as well as the arcade room. It was very windy so we couldn’t go outside but we had an amazing view of the bay that we enjoyed. It was a very clean space and altogether we enjoyed our stay and are very happy that we choose this holiday place.
We had a great time at Steven's. The house is stunning with lots of space for everyone. The view from the balcony was beautiful. We all loved the games room and had fun playing pool and revisiting our youth with the arcade game. Steven is great to deal with. We look forward to staying again.
Had cup weekend with the family, ranging in age from 70 to 3.
We had to be careful with the stirs for the little ones. Baby gate would have been helpful.
Views wonderful. Great for a large group. Plenty of things to do in the games room.
We had a great week in this lovely new house. It's really well decked out for entertaining on the big balcony upstairs and plenty of space and things for teenagers to enjoy (pool table, air hockey & table tennis were all big hits with our kids) downstairs. The kitchen is equipped with good quality cookware and plenty of bench space to make meal prep a breeze. We'd definitely come again.

Family Holiday
The property is brand new and unfinished. Lots of dirt due to the new build. When we arrived the rubbish bins were full so we couldn't put our rubbish in it. Next door neighbour property was too close to the property and complaints about our noise, we didn't have a party, it was Friday afternoon and we couldn't listen to music or kids playing downstair in the gaming room. Over all, the house is nice everything in the kitchen is perfect for our group, the beds and bedroom are not the best, being next to the toilet and also the water pump was loud each time we turned on the water making it hard to sleep.
What a beautiful location and stay. Property is as described in a great location with easy access to the local general store and cafe for coffee. There is alot of nature around Venus Bay and we saw lots of wild life on our walks and visits to the local park. Its such a great family bonding location.
The house yes needs a lot of things finished but that was clearly stated in the description. The setup was perfect for two families with a lot of activities available. I would recommend taking bug spray with you for mozies in the evening on the deck. Being near water. And then the crazy ant problem in the kitchen... Prob with the silly summer weather we are having..
Personally we had a situation with one of the beds being broken on arrival and the bed upstairs in the main room was so wobbly we felt seasick.
For those traveling with dogs I would keep in mind though the back is fenced they can escape under or if big dogs over. The balcony is so big and beautiful they can be kept there though.
All negative stuff aside the house is nice and open, with great views and the host is so easy to deal with and responsive.
Some local info we came across that may be helpful - Access to beach 1 is an easy walk and children around 7+. Access to beach 2 is an uphill climb and wouldn't recommend doing with young kids who don't like walking. If you have dogs they are not allowed on the beach after 9am even on leash. There is also a local shuttle that drives around offering rides to people.
