A true remote escape - wild and sweeping views, clean air, abundant wildlife, no distractions. Deb and Adrian were extremely responsive hosts and the house was one of the best equipped holiday houses ive stayed in - which was very helpful given its a 30 min drive to town. We had an amazing stay.
As a group of four golfers, we found it a little difficult to get accommodation on KI so we opted for Buttons. Being remote, we stopped in at Currie after getting off the plan and picked up groceries and drinks for a two night stay.
The property is located pretty much in between Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes so it worked out well.
The house was exactly what we were looking for. Well set up, as described and with incredible views.

This house is great for up to 3 couples or a family and is about half way between the 2 major golf courses - Ocean Dunes and Cape Wickham. Hosts were brilliant with comms. Pantry is stocked with staples and the local catering was fabulous. Great fire places for a rainy day. Only 2 bathrooms/showers, both with the toilets in them which was the only drawback. You need a hire car if you stay here.
More than we could have hoped for. Stunning views every day , spacious rooms all with a view, incredibly comfortable beds, cosy fireplaces for the cooler evenings , stocked fridge and cupboards for an easy first night .. access to the private beach. Fishing equipment and fabulous gym facilities. Peace , quiet , tranquil. Great office spaces for those of us who taking working holidays. Perfect home and from home and especially set up for the eco conscious lifestyle. LOVED it. Highly recommend
