The cottage is in a great location. AC actually worked as advertised. We have had AC cottages in the area before and they barely worked. This location is 100% family friendly. Lots of water equipment to use. Looked almost brand new. Dock was amazing. Did not rent a boat this year so we really used it to just sit around on. Did not get to use the fire pit due to weather, but there are plenty of seats around it and it is fairly large. 11 min drive into downtown Haliburton and 30 min to Minden. Plenty of space for food we brought as both fridges were full sized as well as a smaller deep freezer. Plenty of space inside the cottage. Internet access was way better then we have had out in Haliburton. Only recommendation I would have is a safety/hand rail to the basement especially for kids and seniors.

Great spot

Enjoyed our time, location is great and inside was as advertised. Exterior could have used a little bit of work. Grass was long, weedy and the deck overall was a little dirty.

We recently stayed 3 nights at this cottage, and the location was excellent. The cottage was located less than 10 mins from downtown Haliburton which was very convenient. The cottage was also very easy to find as it was just minutes off of the main road. You can see and hear the main highway from the beach area, although it didn't bother us, it was worth noting. The cottage was large and very spacious!We found the cottage overall could have been cleaned better. There was crumbs/sand on most of the floors when we arrived, a large amount of dust was covering the blinds on the windows etc. The cottage also didn't smell overly clean, as there was an odour to it that resembled cigarette smoke. The kitchen had most of your basics, although there was only 1 roll of paper towel provided, and no kitchen towels could be found. This makes it rather difficult to keep the cottage clean. The outside of the cottage could also use some attention. The grass in the front yard seemed to be recently cut, however the backyard did not seem to have been cut, and the yard is pretty overgrown with weeds and lacking basic landscaping. The beach area was covered in weeds, we which raked away and felt this should have been done by the hosts prior. The screen on the gazebo was did not zip up, and we could not figure out the lights in the gazebo either. Overall, we felt there was basic things that could improve for the price we paid however we did have a great time during our stay.
