Beautiful house located conveniently close to everything on our agenda for the week while staying in Fairbanks. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room (and yard) for the kids to play and for everyone in our group to have their own space. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!
We appreciated having small amounts of papergoods, soaps, condiments etc left for us. It was very generous and helpful. The only problem was a very slow draining sink in the upstairs hall bath which was never really resolved. Recommend this place!
Great property in Fairbanks! Location is close to groceries and amenities. Heated garage was a huge bonus. Great setup for larger families. Easy check in process.

Wonderful Home!
We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home! The house had everything we needed and was convenient to Fort Wainwright and grocery stores. We especially liked the remote fireplace and the heated garage. One night we walked out the front door and saw the Northern Lights! We will definitely stay here again!
Great family home with plenty of space, nice amenities, quick access to grocery stores, and the heated garage was definitely appreciated with the cold. Definitely can recommend this place.
Lovely home in Fairbanks. Lots of room for 7 adults! Loved having 2 sittng areas to spread out! Nice, large kitchen for cooking our meals! Would highly recommend!
Perfect for me and my family of 8 as we had a celebration of life for our father. We all slept comfortably in the 4 different bedrooms, house felt like a cozy home, plenty of dish wear, pots and pans to make our meals, super clean and in a safe neighborhood. We enjoyed the fireplace, back/ front yard and our overall visit.
Thank you for making this trip so special,
Bonnie P
I hosted a 4-day meeting at UAF and four visitors stayed at this house. It is a nice house in a nice neighborhood just outside the army base. Location is near the main shopping area in Fairbanks and convenient to stuff on the east side of town. It has four large bedrooms upstairs and a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room downstairs. I recommend it highly.
Our family stayed here for 5 nights while my grandson played in a hockey tournament at UAF. It was convient to everything, shopping, food and the college.
It was super clean and very homey, we loved the large kitchen and cooked family dinners every night. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy our family trip. Bonus: we loved having a warm garage to park our car in, that was very nice and greatly appreciated by all.
There were special/ thoughtful touches throughout; desks/night stands in the rooms, nightlights every where, boxes of Kleenex all around, extra throw blankets and pillows on the chairs, laundry soap and more. It was all the little things that made it easy and extra special.
We had one small occasion to speak with the property manager and he was very responsive and answered our question very quickly.
We would definitely stay here again!
We spent 3 nights in Fairbanks on our Alaska tour so we could have easy access to our activities we had planned. We did dog sledding, ice fishing, and snowmobiles with Rod's Alaskan Guide. I would highly recommend them!
This house was just as photos showed. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on during a vacation! The house was very spacious for us and our 3 teen boys. They were all excited to have their own room/space. The house was clean upon arrival and had plenty of coffee/tea supplies and some snacks like granola bars and fruit snacks. That was a nice touch!
I had a question about something upon check in and the contact person responded in a timely manner.
Overall it was an excellent stay and our families favorite place on that trip. We stayed in 3 different hotels! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Could be better
We stayed here for 3 nights, and had mixed feelings about this place. We liked the location, very convenient to the areas we planned to visit. The house itself is spacious for the 7 of us, and well-equipped for cooking, laundry, and entertainment. The biggest problem we had was that we couldn’t get the windows open for fresh air, because there were no screens (mosquitoes would swarm in as soon as you do so). The inside temperature was mid eighties, with no ac and unable to open the windows, one can imagine how miserable the night sleep would be.Another issue was the shower pressure- the small stream made me wonder whether I could clean myself at all. Also, the place was quite dusty- I had to clean the headboards, cloth hangers, table night lights, etc before touching them.I believe all the above issues can be easily fixed, but the owner/managing team needs to take immediate actions in order to ensure the pleasant experience of the guests.

Response from VrboOwner on 18 Jul, 2024
Owner's response: "Mary, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you.
- We take off the screens in the winter and then put them back on in the summer, this was overlooked and we are going to have them put back on ASAP. We wish you had reached out to us so that we could have taken care of this for you. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
- We do not have AC in Fairbanks, but we do have fans, two that are plug-in and some ceiling fans upstairs. This does help to circulate the air so it doesn't get so hot.
- Regarding the shower, you need to pull out the shower knob and then turn it for it to be at full pressure. We have a note about this posted and since we put up the note no one else has had any issues.
- We apologize for the dust, we will talk to the cleaners and make sure they take care of this. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver those 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."

Clean and spacious home, convenient location
I rented this home to stay in when I was visiting my son, who is stationed at Fort Wainwright, for his birthday. The home was super clean, updated, spacious and perfect for our needs!
I was able to cook him and his military buddies a home cooked meal every day and gathered in the spacious common areas all weekend long.
I found the home was not "stocked" with common everyday items such as napkins, salt, pepper, basic cooking ingredients but was provided with coffee, filters, variety of teas and little snacks. Prior to checking in I did write an email to the property manager to ask if there was a propane grill, basic cooking ingredients, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, soap, laundry detergent etc. but I did not hear back. Only a few of those items were provided. Most homes I rent do provide a fully stocked home with all of these things and then some.
Upon arrival the code was not working on the front door. I called the number provided and the manager immediately rectified the situation (ended up being I was an hour early for check in, but the graciously let me in early).
All in all the house was PERFECT! The location was ideal for his buddies to stop over for a home cooked meal, it was close to restaurants, bars and shopping.
Thank you for a lovely stay!! The home was warm and inviting.
