We have stayed at this property several times and it is always perfect. The house is beautifully clean, well stocked, and all of the furniture is very comfortable. Perfect for large families with kids. We had an issue with the attic door late the first night we were there, and they sent someone immediately to look at it even though it was late. Service is impeccable!! Will absolutely be staying again.
We appreciated the wide open space around the property, and the simple interiors. (we hate worrying about breaking owners' decorations!) There were plenty of beds and futons for guests to sleep, and lots of space when family in town came to visit throughout the weekend.
This was our second time staying at this property and it was another perfect visit! The house is spacious and is wonderfully cared for. Very clean, nice furniture, plenty of extra towels and blankets. We loved exploring the little trail out back and watching the herons build their nests. We will absolutely be coming back again!
The house is beautiful match only by the outside environment. Great place to spend time with family whether inside in the spacious rooms or on the deck or covered screened pavilion. The grounds invite walks and exploring. Great place
The owner of this property was very accommodating. The description advertised was on point. I would recommend this property for anyone that needs a break from the hustle and bustle of the city but still close enough to experience all of the highlights of Columbus.
Overall an exceptional stay, couple of issues i thought..1. Entering the property difficulties 2. Air conditioning sub-par 3. Microwave very outdated, believe it read July 1986, maybe an airfryer in the kitchen??
My siblings, their families and I needed a good place to stay while we spent a family reunion week in Pickerington.
We met to help our elderly mother do repairs and spruce up her house.
Since we worked hard each day, it was very nice to return to this big house in the evening and have a dinner together, followed by a family game of cards at the large dining room table.
We'd love to stay there again some time!
Came into town for a wedding. This cute 5 bedroom cottage that was PET FRIENDLY was amazing. It exceeded anything we could have wished for. 5 acres, fire pit, garage and tons of living space.
The house was perfect for our large family - plenty of space to spread out, everyone slept comfortably, and we loved the big couch and comfy chairs that let us all spend time together! The kids loved the extra space off of the bedrooms to play in, and we enjoyed watching the heron nests from the back deck. Great location, close to lots of stores and food. The kitchen was missing some basic supplies but other than that our stay was perfect! We will definitely stay again!

Perfect for Big Families
Our big family (9 adults, 4 kids, 1 dog) loved this house! Lots of room to spend time together and the bedrooms were all incredibly spacious. We absolutely loved watching the herons build their nests in the trees out back! House is located close to lots of shopping and food. The only issue we had was the kitchen was missing some basic/essential items but we made it work. Will definitely book again!
My husband and I stayed with a brother (his service dog), sister and brother-in-law and our daughter in preparation for our daughter's wedding. It was a perfect place to prepare.
The house is lovely, spacious, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The we--and the dog loved the big yard. We appreciated the extra touches, including the first aid kit and assorted spices.
We will certainly consider staying there again when we come to visit our now married daughter.
Nice house, on busy street but set back from street somewhat. Needs a bit of updating. Needs better childproofing (balasters on main staircase too far apart, broken balaster on front porch, back decking lacked balasters. Hot water set too high could scald person). Bridge over creek needs some work. Close to shopping & restaurants. Overall enjoyed our stay.
The home was very nice however the kitchen was not well equipped. Only I dish towel and no salt and peeper. There was no paper toweling. For such a large home, more pots and pans are needed.
Upstairs shower did not work.
Beautiful property
Thank you!

Shared from the owner: "Thanks for your review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay at our home. We are sorry to hear you felt some items were missing from your stay. We provide salt and pepper which is located in the kitchen cabinet as well as a pot set of 9. Our paper towels are not rolled, but we do provide a generous amount for each guest's stay. Our home has 3 bathtubs including a shower upstairs that is checked to ensure all are working properly after each guest's stay. We wish you would have reached out to address any concerns you may have had as we would have been more than happy to assist for a most comfortable stay. Thank you for your insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!"
The house was large and comfortable for our family’s gathering. The outdoor space was lovely. Kids could play outside. Kitchen was large but a bit understocked for big family dinners, so we were glad we brought some things. The three standard bedrooms were comfortable (and the primary bedroom and bath was huge), but there were fewer functional bedrooms than we expected. The two attic rooms were not insulated (very cold in November and would presumably be very hot in summer). There really wasn’t a good ground-floor room for Grandma (who couldn’t do many stairs). It was a den with a futon couch. We had to take her back to her room at the retirement home every night.

Falsely led by pictures
I was truly disappointed when we arrived. The house is much more weathered than the pictures. I would say the pictures are several years old. The picture of the creek shows full access to it and I booked this house mainly for the creek so the grandkids could play in it. Imagine my disappointment when there was years of growth at the creek and you couldn't even see it or get to it. The hiking trails have not been kept up for a while and our family likes to hike so that was another disappointment. The grass hasn't been mowed in weeks. The outside was just not taken care of and we are a family with 8 little grandkids and love to be outside. The property manage never acknowledged that the pictures were several years old as you don't get that kind of growth in one spring. Just that they had a flood and couldn't get to things. Again, I wouldn't have booked this place if I would have known you couldn't get to the creek. I wish I could post pictures to show the difference. Thankfully my son cut a path to the creek which I was so thankful b/c he knew how excited I was about the creek and worked to make it fun for the grands. They did love it and maybe others after us will enjoy it as well. All I ask is that the pictures be updated to show how things really are or just remove them and not mention the creek or the hiking trails. Just be honest. If you don't care about the outside then you will enjoy this place. The house is a little dated but was clean and had lots of room for our whole family. Close to many things to do.
