You will love being literal steps from microbreweries, restaurants, coffee shops, the Bow River pathways, Fort Calgary, Stampede and the Calgary Zoo. The space This home was built in 2022, as a guesthouse backing the alley of 9th Avenue SE. It features two comfortable queen beds and full kitchen. A 1⁄2 bath and bedroom is on the main floor and a full bath and second bedroom is upstairs adjacent to the living space and kitchen. The kitchen has four chairs for island seating, a gas range/oven, dishwasher and all the essentials for your stay. In-suite laundry is provided in the bathroom. An adjacent gated patio allows outdoor seating in the summer.
This tiny house is in our backyard. You may hear us in the private attached garage, but it is sound-insulated, fire-separated and no venting/heating is shared with the guest space. We also do our best to respect quiet times between 10pm-8am. Guest access Parking is provided through a permit system on-street along the block. Your licence is required to register the permit. When you arrive, park out front of our main house on the street, walk along the winding sidewalk to the left into the backyard, and you will see a gate to the entrance for your own little house. It even has a doorbell if you order food! There is an entrance to the right that goes to the private garage, but your entrance is through the gate. It is truly adorable and one of a kind!
Inglewood is one of Calgary’s most walkable neighbourhoods and this block alone has three coffee shops, a micro-brewery and our favourite pho noodle soup right out the gate, and our favourite place to get Dole whip on the corner. The gate to the alley has a lock and guests are welcome to use the gate alley entrance or the pathway beside our residence. Gate lock code is provided after booking. Other things to note We currently allow 6 adults, (does not apply to children). We can provide an extra twin cot for extra children or a portable crib and high chair for infants. The cot is low to the floor, so appropriate for kids who may roll out of bed. We cannot guarantee early check-ins/late checkouts as we ensure the entire guesthouse is up to our standards for guests.

Close to downtown Calgary and the Calgary Zoo. Charming neighbourhood. Shopping area close to the location. Very private guest house at the back of the property. Excellent host!
There was myself and 4 other friends staying at this house. It was a perfect size, didnt need anything more! Contacting the host was super easy and very fast responses. Super polite host as well. One of the best parts of the stay was the beds, they were very comfortable!! Thanks for a great stay.
we loved our stay here. it was so comfortable and it was easy to check in and the host was very available. There was storage space for our things and food and everything you would need to stay for a few days. it is literally right by the Zoo and Telus spark and very easy to get everywhere we were going. The neighbourhood was quiet and seemed very safe and family friendly to us. it was so clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Thanks so much, Bailey! I hope you come back again, there’s always something new popping up (we’re getting another local small-batch ice cream store soon, for example 😀).
What a great stay here! The little guest house was immaculate and air conditioned, which we appreciated during the heat wave. There's a brewery beyond the backyard fence (10 steps to stumble home) and a multitude of walkable restaurants. It was an 8 minute Uber to Stampede grounds, and a 5 minute Uber to the zoo. The owner also doesn’t require you to wash sheets, etc upon check out. Towels in the bath and youre done! 10/10 would 100% stay here again.
We loved everything about this property, from its convenient location to its stylish, clean, comfortable vibe. The hosts were amazing and it was surprisingly quiet considering that it is only a block away from the action of Inglewood pubs, restaurants, and shops. Our host did everything they could to ensure that we were comfortable and taken care of in a way that made us feel at home. Our stay was in the spring, and we did have some hot weather noting the unit can get warm, but they have an air conditioning unit in the closet which will likely be needed in the hot summer months. They had several fans that kept us comfortable. I would stay again without hesitation. Five stars.

About the host
Hosted by Jacqueline Puff
I have lived in this area for 10 years and love meeting people in the local shops or at playgrounds with my kids. I like to get away with my family and often use STRs to save a little money and see the areas from a more local perspective.
Why they chose this property
We back onto Main Street and the Bow River is across the street. It’s the best of nature and city life, but it feels like a small town. The microbreweries that carry alcohol free options and allow kids, the playgrounds, historic churches, buildings and river pathways make this the best area to live in or visit!
What makes this property unique
The property is a self contained house in our backyard, with direct access to the back alley. It will feel like you have privacy and the suite was built in 2021 and is sound proof and cozy. It’s an oasis in the city.
