Welcome to The Best Little Shorehouse in Texas in the heart of Port A! Close to everything.

~4 bed rooms (2 master suites with king mattresses, one queen bedroom, and a bunk room with 2 full size mattress). All Rooms have TVs. Open concept den/kitchen with comfy couches and a big screen TV. The bunk room has a comfy couch too and a big screen TV with lots of kid movies and an Xbox game console with games. Huge backyard with 3 levels of decks. A fire pit for s'mores at night. Hammocks for napping under the palm trees. A short 4 min golf cart ride to the beach. Self check in for guests. Use of our 6 seater golf cart. Lots of parking for cars and boats. I'm always happy to give advice on fun things to do in Port A or great restaurants I like. Just give me or my husband a call if you have any questions. Christiana 504-458-3515 or Joe 504-451-6061 (he works most nights so if it's late its ok.) Our house is in the perfect location for a great Port Aransas vacation. One block from Iries (I think the best restaurant in town) and from the main drag, one block from the grocery, liquor store and souvenir shops. We provide a 6 seater golf cart with a beach parking pass so your car doesn't have to get sandy and being so close to everything means you can walk to many of restaurants and attractions if everyone wants to go in different directions.

Family Vacation

I traveled here to meet my adult children and their families. Plenty of space, and lots of cool spots to gather and have a good time. With all of the grandkids, it was nice to have a pool to ourselves. We had a great time and comfortable stay!

Best Beach House vacation EVER!!

The house and property really do live up to its name. We had a ball! It was the perfect place for our family to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from TAMUCC! The 6 seater golf cart was such a great bonus and so convenient that it came with the house. Look no further, this is the PERFECT place for your next family beach getaway!

The BEST Little Shorehouse!

Home was perfect for our two family vacation! 4 kids and 4 adults fit perfectly! Property was exactly as described with lots of bonus amenities! Kids were entertained with the pool, volleyball net, fuzball table and the bottom floor kids space. Beach was a short drive away in the provided golf cart along with shopping and convenience stores. Owners were wonderful. Great communication (they even checked in with us after the first night to make sure everything was great). Would definitely stay again! 5 stars!

Port A Home w/Pool!

This property is in central Port A with easy access to the grocery store, liquor store, shopping, the best candy shop and beach access! We utilized both golf carts since we were a party of 7. Worth the extra expense! The pool and large backyard was great for our kids! We will for sure come back next time we visit Port Aransas! Will say it was hard to get a response from owner when messaging thru VRBO, but texting was super quick response time and no issues reaching the owners. Thank you!

We had such a great stay! The home is incredibly family-friendly, with plenty of space and things to keep everyone entertained. The golf cart was an awesome bonus and added so much fun to our trip. The location is perfect, close to shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and the beach.The beds were super comfortable, and there were more than enough towels and beach towels, we didn’t even use them all! The hosts truly thought of everything; the house was stocked with anything you could need.They were also very responsive and attentive, providing top-notch customer service from start to finish. The welcome bottle of wine was a thoughtful surprise and much appreciated. The property is spacious with lots of parking, which made it super convenient for our group. Our family and close friends all had a wonderful, memorable time. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Fun house for kids

House was true to pictures and clean. Little nooks, toys and Xbox kept the kids entertained thru rain. Had a fun layout. Close to the shops but need to drive to the beach. Plenty of room for 11 family members to be comfortable. Things I wish I had known: There is a stagnant pond/canal behind the property that is a breading ground for mosquitos. Propane not provided for the grill. There is construction next door but luckily they were off for the holiday. Overall I would stay here again. Great place.

Thanks Angela! I'm so happy your family had a comfortable stay! We definitely designed the house to entertain the whole family (we have 5 kids ourselves) and I'm glad your kids kept entertained with the toys and Xbox. If you do stay with us again, please just text us a receipt for propane if you have to replace the tank. I did mention that in the check in instructions, but it's a lot of info, so perhaps it was missed. I also mentioned that, Port A being on a sub tropical island, mosquitoes can happen, especially after all the rain the Island got in the last few weeks coming out of the drought. It's unfortunately an island wide issue. As I mentioned in your check in message, we use Skin So Soft to keep them away. It works great plus it smells nice and moisturizes too! I'm glad you thought the house was great and I'm happy you'd like to stay there again.

Great fit for our family

Christina was very prompt in responding and ensuring we had what we needed before our stay. It was a very cute, family- style place. It worked great for us and was very unique in the 3 different levels it has with a bedroom on each level. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into what others would enjoy and had different activities around the home including those for the kiddos. They decorated the place very nice, the beds were comfortable and the golf cart was a big plus. There were a few things that I noticed, mainly in the back yard, that needed tending to but I brought it to Christina's attention and she seemed grateful for letting her know and stated she would ensure to notify those needed. The bottle of wine and welcome book was a wonderful little bonus to our arrival. Overall, we enjoyed it, the location was great and we will definitely be interested in staying again in the future. Great place to stay

We rented this property with some friends and our children. The location is very convenient and there was plenty of parking. The house is beautiful with lots of space. Christiana was very responsive and having access to the golf carts was a major plus. Highly recommend staying here.

The island experience

This house is absolutely amazing. You are in close proximity of the beach, grocery store, and local restaurants. The property managers responded immediately and were easy to work with. Will definitely book again for our next family trip!

Great Stay

Celebrated my 50th birthday in Port A and the home was absolutely perfect. Plenty of sleeping area, full kitchen for cooking all week and a grill outside. TVs worked well, all appliances were good and the addition of having the golf cart was awesome. Would definitely do it again.

Perfect for multi family

We had a wonderful weekend with family at this wonderful home. It had a bed on every floor which gave some privacy to each family. There was lots to do in the back yard including mini golf, fire pit and other games. Host was great in responding when we had an issue. We look forward to our next family vacation in Port A.

Having a home in Port A that's close to everything but still tucked away on a quiet street is a rare find. The Little Shorehouse fits this bill perfectly. Our home is located on a double lot in Old Town with lots of parking, even for boats, plus your own private pool. Our guests really love using our new 6 seater golf cart when cruising around town or to the beach. 15 min Walk to the beach, but just a few min walk from restaurants and shops.
