Jamaicaville sits in such a unique spot, far enough from civilisation to really enjoy silence but close enough for day trips around the area! We love the house and the view, it really gives us time away from the city. Sitting beside the fire under the stars here is just magical!
Clean & comfortable, good directions to the property. Area as described & nicely secluded plus very good views & atmosphere. Hot water for shower may be not adequate in winter. However was sufficient for this period.
Lovely property with amazing views! We had a wonderful time. Hosts were helpful and quick to respond. Location is close to Rylestone and great bushwalks, but also plenty to do on the property! We didn’t end up leaving much because it was so lovely. Thanks so much for our stay!
We were two families with children (3-6), we had great time! The house warms up very nicely l, we were never cold. Outside fire pit was also great to spend tome around.
I recommend this lovely house to anyone who likes the silence of the nature.
We look for cabins that are within 20 kms from a town in this case Rylstone The cabin was great well placed good views and was well managed ,it had everything you would need So we loved it
This was a stunning property to stay at. The house is cosy and the views are breathtaking. We enjoyed our short stay here and had the best campfire under the stars. My friends could not stop talking about what a great place it was.
The hosts are absolutely lovely and gave us ample information for our stay.
We are already planning our next trip back here! Thank you so much for having us!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Jamiacaville! The communication and information From the owners and property manager was very helpful and timely. The house and the farm couldn’t be in a more perfect setting, beautiful views, and very comfortable home that met all our expectations. Our children had such a wonderful time too!
The property is located right on the Great Dividing Range and there are great views all around. A short walk in the bush to either more great views or some fantastic rock.
With that position it can be a bit nippy outside, but the house is very well insulated and soon warms up once the fire it lit for a cosy night in.
Nice property - no obvious signs of civilisation and a great opportunity to gaze at the heavens.
Saw wombat holes, kangaroos/wallabies, and even a wild pig, as we strolled around the grounds, and the nearby Baby Feet Cave was an unexpected find.
Good to get the kids off devices for a few days too!
We spent 2 weeks in the region with Jamaicaville as our base only leaving the property to go to Newcastle. Most days were spent lazing around, short walks and watching the kangaroos & the diversity of birds at sunrise & sunset. It was very hot on most days, however the house was very well insulated with the rammed earth walls. Everything we needed was supplied & if we had any questions, Sarah the property manager was very responsive. Jamaicaville is a fabulous location to get away from technology and the hussle of modern living !!
