House+Casita North of Santa Teresa - Close to Beach - Sleeps 8

Our property offers both a main house and casita. Two separate buildings on the property just steps away from each other and sleeps 8.

The main house offers high speed internet, two large air-conditioned bedrooms with queen beds, lots of clothing storage space, large master en-suite bathroom and a second full bathroom. The fully equipped open concept kitchen and living room look out on to the infinity pool and large deck area with a nice little peek at the coastal ocean.

The outdoor space is equipped with a propane gas BBQ cooking area and plenty of shaded seating space to hear and see the wonderful wildlife, enjoy pool time after fun days of adventure and great meals with family and friends. Elevate your at home dining experience with a private chef. We would be happy to arrange for you!

There is a second smaller house on the property we call the 'Casita' just a few steps away from the main house with high speed internet. It is air-conditioned with a large deck, queen bed, set of bunk beds, lots of clothing storage space, and full bathroom. The kitchenette is equipped with a mid-size fridge, sink, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave and electric cook pan. The two head outdoor shower is a great way to cool and clean off when returning from the beach and is accessible from the main house as well. The patio is completely enclosed with a gate for the safety of busy toddlers or if you have a pet and do not want them out of sight. The casita patio also has a nice sunset view!

The villa offers a peaceful oasis to nature out of the busy town of Santa Teresa which is just a 15-minute drive away. You will wake up to the sounds of the jungle and be prepared to be amazed with all the wildlife Costa Rica has to offer!

The fully fenced and secure house is situated between Manzanillo and Hermosa. Manzanillo beach is a quick 2-minute drive or a .50KM walk to the most calm, quiet, and sandy beach. Hermosa beach is a short 5-minute drive to the best surfing in Costa Rica and plenty of restaurants. The bustling town of Santa Teresa is a 15-minute drive stocked full of restaurants and shops.

A car (4x4) or ATV will be required to get around. We are happy to arrange an ATV (2 or 4 or 5 seater) for you upon booking or arrival. Cars can be rented at the airport, in Cobano or in Santa Teresa with either Alamo or Budget.

Agustina, our house concierge is ready and waiting to book any excursions you would like to do and answer all the questions you may have. Activities include surfing, morning or sunset horseback riding, zip lining, boat tours and much more. We can also arrange massages and yoga at the property.

Both houses make the property perfect for privacy of a large family, two families or a group of friends to share a wonderful vacation. We look forward to hosting you!

Beautiful house & great location!

This home is situated to take full advantage of the Santa Teresa area. It is just a short 10-15 minute ride to the north of Santa Teresa, and the location provides the perfect combination of both access to and escape from the vibrant scene of ST. It provides very quick access to the relaxed beaches and restaurants in Playa Hermosa and Manzanillo, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The home itself is wonderful, and the pool is amazing! The casita is a very thoughtful addition and accommodated our teenagers so well. The host and property manager, Agustina, communicated promptly and were both responsive to any of our needs or requests. I highly recommend this rental property. You will not regret your stay!

Absolutely incredible place to stay

Casa del Arbor is a truly magical place - we were a group of 5 (2 parents & 3 adult children) and there was plenty of space for us all. It's really nicely decorated with a very natural & calming theme, and all bedrooms have excellent AC (fan in the lounge). It's very well stocked and all the essentials are provided for your arrival (pots, pans, microwave, tea/coffee, gas BBQ, etc) as well as some great 'nice to haves', such as candles, bluetooth speaker, yoga mats, hammocks and snorkelling gear. However, the animals around the property were the stars (which is saying something given how good the property is!!) - every day we seemed to see something different from humming birds and native squirrels (some carrying their babies) to an entire troop of howler monkeys resting in the trees and eating mangoes. It really was amazing to be able to watch them whilst swimming in the pool. Augustina (the property manager) was amazing also and always on hand for advice and bookings. If you are lucky enough to stay at Case del Arbor, hire a 4x4!!!! The roads on the Nicoya Peninsula are something else - just getting onto the property's drive requires additional clearance. Also, allow plenty of time to get anywhere...driving into Santa Teresa takes about 20-25 minutes and we averaged 27kph / 17mph over the duration of our stay (and that included driving on paved roads before we reached the peninsula).

Casa Del Arbol has been a dream in the making for a very long time. The first visit to Santa Teresa, Costa Rica was with my two girls in 2010. We immediately fell in love with the beaches, culture and nature. It was like nowhere else we had ever been. I returned on a solo trip in 2014 and looked into purchasing a property however the stars did not align to make it happen. In 2019, I vacationed with a group of friends and met Leah and her wonderful family. I visited several times after 2019 and the dream became a reality. I am humbled by the opportunity this beautiful country has offered myself and my family and I am thrilled to share it with you! Pura Vida!

Why they chose this property

The property is in between Hermosa and Manzanillo which offers a quiet and private area while being close to the busy town of Santa Teresa. We chose the property as it is so close to the beach and offers a nice little peak at the costal ocean while offering an amazing valley view where so much wildlife can be seen. It is a nice, quiet and safe community and an oasis of calm. Our favourite is seeing the monkeys while having our early morning coffee!

Quiet and peaceful while being just minutes to a tranquil and private beach. Santa Teresa is a great amazing beach town which offers so many fabulous restaurants and shops. This property provides a private place to enjoy with family and friends with lots of activity just a 15-minute drive away. The best of both worlds that Costa Rica has to offer!

We have a house concierge to arrange anything you may need including but not limited to ATV rentals, , zip lining, horseback riding, boat tours, yoga and massage on the patio and anything else you may want on your vacation.
