About this property

Bright and Fun Modern Vibe, New Decor and Furnishing Throughout, Four Blocks 2 Alberta Arts District

'The Fish' is a spectacularly done studio style retreat with a fun and fresh vibe in the heart of northeast Portland just moments away from the Alberta Arts District.

You'll have a private entrance from the street that leads back and down to the entrance next to a quiet and cozy outdoor seating area that is surrounded by lush plants and foliage. Inside you are greeted with a space that offers tons of natural light. Additionally there is ample space to relax on the plush furniture or at the open dining space between the living and kitchen area. When it is time to rest, there is a queen bed towards the back of the room. The entire space enjoys its its own mini-split so you can control the heating and cooling to whatever setting you desire.

Alberta Street is about four blocks to the south. Along there you will find countless fabulous options for food, drinks, and entertainment. Salt & Straw is always a crowd favorite. We highly recommend Les Caves for any wine connoisseur's out there as well. When its time to start your day you can't go wrong with Barista or Just Bob, both which have fantastic coffee and tasty treats to go with it.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Hidden gem of a vrbo
I've stayed at many vrbos and they are all OK but this one was my favorite. Everything in the small space is well thought out. Anything you might need on a vacation that doesn't warrant making the trip with you is probably already at this place. Everything is high quality from the furnishing to the shower, and dishes. My only ONLY complaint is that the owner keeps the place pretty warm. I run on the cooler side so I ended up sleeping without any blankets on and I was too hot. I did turn on the ac to counter act it but the heater won in the end lol. Will Def make a trip back here. It made my out of town visit for work a lot more comfortable than staying at a hotel.

Amazing little sanctuary! Highly recommended.
My daughter and I came to Portland to check out moving there. We loved our little alberta arts district spot. The space is soo fresh and contemporary. Makes me curious if the owner is an interior designer? Its beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with quality goods & great coffee. The linens are all premium, cozy bed, great leather couch for napping and lots of options on tv. We loved this cute neighborhood and walking to spots was a plus. Parking on street is stress free, we got a spot in front of the home nearly everytime. Thank you for such a safe, welcoming, cool and warm little sanctuary in Portland.

We loved The Fish!
We had an exceptional stay at this suite over the weekend and cannot recommend it enough! Location & Accessibility: The location was absolutely perfect for our needs. It offered easy access to major roads, and we were delighted by the plethora of dining options nearby. First Impressions: Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the suite was even more charming in person than in the photos. The thoughtful lighting, harmonious color palette, and unique art pieces throughout the space made for a warm welcome. Cleanliness & Comfort: The suite scored top marks in both cleanliness and comfort. It felt incredibly cozy, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Amenities & Features: Though our interactions with the host were minimal, they made it clear that they were readily available should we need anything, which was very reassuring. The communication was excellent throughout our stay. Overall Experience: The suite itself was a highlight of our trip to Portland. We felt very safe and at home. A special mention must go to the adorable fish tiles in the bathroom—such a delightful touch! We wholeheartedly recommend this suite to anyone visiting Portland and eagerly look forward to our next stay.
