We enjoyed our stay with Christine thoroughly. It is in a quiet location, where we wanted to relax on the verandah, listen to the birds, watch the horses, and enjoy the breeze. Being able to have our two dogs stsy with us was a mustand they were secure on the verandah. The cabin was tidy and had everything we needed. The shower was nice, and the drinking water was tank water and tasted good. The bed was comfortable. Tv is available, a clothesline too. The closest beach is Coonarr Beach which is pristine and very beautul. Coonarr Cabin isan easy 15 minute drive from Bundaberg and Bargara. I would highly recommend Coonarr Cabin.
Rustic, peaceful and perfect to unwind. Beautiful host who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
Nighttime gave us a sky of brilliant stars.
Horses, goats and dogs to pat.
Thanks Chris for making us feel welcome to your piece of paradise.

The peace and quiet.
Didn’t like mozzies but they are everywhere you go in Qld so not bothered.
Quick 20 minutes to Bundaberg, half hour to the beach at Woodgate.
The property was basically as described.
However, there was evidence of pests inside cupboards.
There was a minimum of detergent for washing dishes - insufficient for a two night stay.
A clothes line under cover (on the patio) would have been very useful, as it was raining when we arrived so we could not use the rotary hoist.
We found the description of "rustic" very apt, but felt that the surrounding grounds could have been made more attractive by the removal of clutter.
The outdoor setting on the verandah was acceptable, but we would have appreciated it more had it been cleaned before our arrival. We did not consider using the Weber Q as it also appeared to be below standard in cleanliness.
It was a bit disconcerting having a curtain separating the toilet from the kitchen and a handbasin in the bathroom would have been greatly appreciated.
Although the cabin did not appear to be of conventional construction, it was weather proof and in a peaceful location. Our privacy was also assured.
Our host greeted us on arrival and was convivial.
If you are not too fussy, this property may satisfy your needs for peace and privacy.
I am not convinced that the cost is justified.
