Tiny home on working gourmet mushroom farm just minutes outside of Gibsons.

So THAT"S how gourmet mushrooms are grown!!? Overlooking the beautiful Walker Creek with huge trees, wildlife and lots of sun, this rustic,clean,cozy tiny home was built with the lovely gully in mind. Walking to Gibsons along the farm stand road allows us to enjoy the quiet, rural beauty and bounty only minutes from town. Truly the best of both worlds. Tiny is a non-conventional tiny home on wheels with an open floor plan for the feel of space, light and air... We know that not everyone can use composting toilets in their homes but we are lucky here to be able to give back to the planet with our bucket toilets, grey water filters and composting.....well everything.... ;) so be sure to ask for a tour of the mushroom facility and join us for some truly down to earth living. :)

We had wonderful time at this property, felt cozy and comfortable, my kids love this place as well. Its clean, owner is friendly, we got a little tour at Sarah's farm, it was pretty neat! Highly recommend, we will be back here aging for sure.

Check in was so easy, Sarah was nice and explained everything to do with the tiny house. The location was perfect and quiet. It rained most of the weekend and the getaway did not disappoint as this great place made it fun and we enjoyed our relaxation.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this tiny home near Gibsons. It was a great base to explore some of the sunshine coast, but also a great place to hang out inside during the rain!

Perfect Little Getaway

This little gem surrounded by green lush and away from the city was exactly what we needed. Sarah is lovely and accommodating and you’re so close to everything for any day trips! We made lasting memories here and would definitely recommend! Truly a home away from home :)

Accommodation had all the necessities for a one night stay though it only had one hand towel for two people and no face cloths. For two seniors, the stairs to the sleeping area was a challenge. Would not recommend if you have mobility concerns.

Sarah is an amazing host, very open, accommodating, kind, available, and sweet.The home itself was perfect, welcoming, beautiful and clean. Sarah had boardgames to play with and a very comfortable bed. Honestly, the most beautiful countertop and woodwork inside the home. The washer/dryer wasn't available to use which was a bummer. While the composting toilet was a great feature, we didn't expect it to be using a bucket with mushroom compost to layer on top of our waste I love the idea of it going back into the earth, it wasn't our jive. The walk to the home was a goat trail and was pretty cluttered and was a bit off-putting.
