Romantic cottage on private lake

Become part of nature when you stay in this unique log cabin hidden in the woods. The cabin is situated on our private lake with an abundance of wildlife such as loons, deer, elk, beavers and otters. The lake is perfect for swimming and canoeing, and you will have a canoe for your use. As part of the exclusive experience you paddle to the cabin (but only if you're comfortable with it)! Over 10km of hiking/MTB trails, plus a sprawling apple orchard. We are off-grid but have cell signal.

What makes this property unique

Elkwoods cabin is perfect for 2 people, marvellous for romance, a quiet retreat or writing a book. Private in your own bay, no other cottages on the lake. A covered deck for amazing sunsets and windows giving a 180 degree view of the lake with great cross breezes. Unfortunately we do not allow pets due to the sensitivity of the wildlife.
