Shuswap getaway in beautiful Blind Bay!

Welcome to the Lindsay Lakehouse! Modern 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home on Shuswap Lake in Blind Bay, BC. This semi-lakefront home comes with access to your own private beach and your own private dock! Enjoy the sunny Shuswap days lounging on the dock and enjoying the available kayaks (2), paddle boards (2) and numerous floaties available for guests to use! Complete with 2 BBQ’s, fully equipped kitchen, and a front and back deck to take in the unobstructed views with a beverage in hand, this is the perfect place for one or multiple families to enjoy a holiday together.

The Master Suite with a king bed is located on the top floor with gorgeous views of Shuswap lake and Copper Island through the double patio door leading to your own private terrace. Brew yourself a fresh cup of coffee at the coffee bar to ease into your day while taking in the view. The master suite also features a bright bathroom with shower and double vanity. Also on the top floor is a spacious guest room with a queen size and twin bed. This is a great space for kids or a couple with children.

On the main floor you will find a gorgeous, fully appointed kitchen, featuring modern appliances and a large island with every amenity you need. There is also a living room and dining area, all with views of the lake. Right off this area there is a great deck with comfortable patio furniture, large picnic table, and a Weber BQQ. Enjoy your meals together with breathtaking views of the lake.

There is also an additional guest room with queen bed and TV on the main floor, right across the hall from a full bathroom with shower, bath, and double vanity.

The basement offers a comfortable living room great for playing games (Xbox provided) or watching a movie on the smart TV. There is a spacious laundry room with a work station if you just can’t fully escape.

Down the hall you will find a bathroom with shower and double vanity. Also, another guest room with a queen bed and bunk bed with a single top bunk and double bottom bunk. This space would be great for a family or for all the kids to hang out and have their own space to watch movies on the 32" smart TV and play board games at night.

Who doesn’t love cozying up to a fire at night?! You’ll love the back deck and it’s propane fire pit with comfortable seating.

There is plenty of parking and a large grass area out front that can be utilized for some family fun while taking in the sunset.

Grocery, liquor and restaurants all within minutes. Including on water dining at Finz Resort or Bayside Marina. Blind Bay Golf Course is 5 minutes away with additional courses within a 15 min drive.

You'll have everything you need here to make a memorable experience and holiday.

Beautiful lake house with plenty of room for family. Owners have lots of items, games and activities included for enjoyment. Conveniently located right across the street from Shuswap lake (careful for traffic when crossing with young kids) in a lovely area. With a dock, beach access and large deck to swim and enjoy the surroundings.

Great getaway place

We are are group of older ladies who are very good friends and love to play cards. This house was great for us, lots of space to spread out, good kitchen to work in with well stocked cooking appliances and trays etc. Speedy replies from owners which was appreciated.

The Lake House at Blind Bay is perfect.

Perfect Lakehouse for family vacation

The Lakehouse is the perfect place to have an amazing and memorable holiday! It is spacious and well laid out, and equipped with everything we needed. Our family had such a great time that no one wanted to leave! We love this part of the Shuswaps, so location was ideal, with many amenities close by. The hosts have thought of everything and were quick to respond with any questions. Couldn't have asked for more!

Perfect Vacation Home

We found this home to have everything we needed for a great vacation! The beach was fantastic, the sitting areas at tue beach and house are perfect, giving lots of options. The house has way more than we expected making cooking so much easier! Lots of games and supplies and we loved the water toys provided by the hosts. We really enjoyed this property, there was something for all the ages to enjoy. Very clean and cozy. We would rent it again, our kids and us said it was a 10/10!

Fabulous Family Weekend

Our Family of 12 one day and 10 other days.Everything was beautifully appointed and so completely outfitted in the kitchen & bathrooms ,decks ,beach chairs.My mobility restricted my visits to beach and I never did go to the top floor but our Family was very impressed with paddle boards ,kayaks ,life jackets Our Family are real water babies so they had a great time.We took a generous amount of food so had no lack.1 coffee mug was broken and the front door phantom screen didn't work.But lots of beach towels were provided...thanks.We;d propbably think of coming again except for my mobility.Enjoyed the fire table 2 evenings.Host was so kind and accomadating.We felt so blessed..........Bsryl Heath

Vacation 2023 Blind Bay Lindsay House

Exactly as described on the listing. Hosts were quick to respond and offered help. Welcome book (at house and emailed) was very useful. Check-in/out was easy. The house was spotless. Kitchen and bathrooms are very modern and look recently updated. Every utensil you could need was in the kitchen. The house is located across the road from the beach with is their lot as well with dock. Lots of parking, including a level gravel spot along the frontage of the home for truck and trailer (25ft boat) without blocking the paved driveway. Front deck on mainfloor with BBQ, seating and table got lots of use. We didn’t get a chance to use the back deck where there is a second BBQ and firetable. Lots of toys in the loft, inflatables and couple SUP boards and more. Dock is brand new and was very convenient for load/unload of the boat. Lots of time spent sitting on the chairs on the dock, or feet in the water, and swimming. Boat ramp only 1/2km away. Neighbours were friendly and happy to wave. Lots of games inside as well for after dinner or if it rains.

A little slice of Heaven!

We stayed here for 5 days in July 2023 and we all wished we had booked this amazing rental for longer as we all enjoyed it tremendously. We had a large group of 10, 2 grandparents, 2 sisters, their husbands and 4 kids ages 11-7 and we all had a blast! The house was immaculate, bright and spacious. The kitchen had everything one would need for a stay away from home, right down to coffee and spices and small appliances that made cooking our meals so much easier. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with shampoo etc, even had bath toys for our youngest. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable for all of us. The front deck was the most popular spot, with a big patio couch, table, outdoor fridge and BBQ. The back deck has a lovely spot with patio furniture and a fire table which made for a quiet spot to visit. They had a loft space above their garage full of extra items you might need, including 2 paddle boards and inflatable toys for the lake. The house came with two kayaks as well, and had access to their own beach with a big & beautiful deck on the beach and a dock on the water with chairs to sit on and watch the kids swim all day. The location was great, with quick access to a well stocked grocery store, a few restaurants and ice cream spots for a cool treat on a hot day. The hosts were quick to respond, accommodating and lovely to deal with. We will definitely be back to this gorgeous lake house. Thank you Richelle & Dan!
