On the banks of the pristine Cowichan River you will find Cowichan River Lodge – a luxury Lodge nestled in a stunning area of natural wilderness. It is a home away from home for up to 10 guests in the unspoiled Cowichan River Valley. The Lodge is beautiful and spacious with 4 large ensuite bedrooms (7 beds in total), a gorgeous great room with wood burning fire, a billiards room with a pool table, large screen TV, games and books, and a dining area with full kitchen. The outdoor patio has stunning views across the natural beaver pond to the unspoilt Cowichan River and our 16 acres of private property. Cowichan River Lodge is not only a destination for those wanting to fish in the wilds of Vancouver Island and catch that trophy trout or salmon, but also a place for those seeking an outdoor adventure or destination to rest and relax with friends and loved ones. Nearby you will find many exciting activities such as fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking, river tubing, whale watching, local winery tours, motorsport and performance driving experiences and so much more. Whatever you choose to do, you will be assured a warm welcome in our cozy and private Lodge.

All in all, it was an incredible stay! Everything was very cozy and welcoming, and the fireplace and games room made for a lovely time spent with family.

This very spacious accommodation works perfectly for our three generational family. The great outdoors is just there whether viewing it through the cathedral windows or from the seating on the large front patio. So, no matter the time of year or the weather you are close to natural and comfortable.

A perfect place for bringing family around an oversized table and eating outdoors. Well equipped kitchen for large meals with dishes to spare. Quiet and private with a very responsive host.
