About this property
Luxurious Riverfront Retreat
Summary:
Eye-catching, elegant and exceptional in every way, this spectacular retreat redefines the very concept of luxury accommodation. Nestled within the exclusive confines of Noosa Sound, the two-level property looks to have been lifted straight from the cover of a prestige design magazine.
The Space:
An understated palette of whites and neutrals sets the tone for a chic island vibe, underscored by open-plan living and generous use of glass. At its heart lies a spacious multi-storey void that seamlessly melds the outdoors and in, bathed in warm sunlight and casting reflections on the canal and lush vegetation beyond. It’s the kind of panorama that turns a holiday into an experience.
With a hint of salty air carried inside, the retreat is ideally set up for families and groups, with top-end facilities including a chef-style kitchen suite and private lounges for two of the bedrooms, allowing for private rest and retreat. Yet the lure of a lounge palls in comparison with the delights of the natural environment, which come into focus as you step from the central living area out to a stylish alfresco zone with barbecue, hot tub and lap pool perfect for a cooling dip on a balmy summer day.
Or, if your tastes run more to saltwater than chlorine, a private pontoon is a stepping-off point for all sorts of adventures on the water, from casting a line to commandeering a kayak. Then, of course, there’s the delicious pleasure of a comfortable sun lounger and the latest bestseller in hand. It’s all about planning your day your way.
Taking advantage of the prime location, a short stroll leads through to Hastings St, one of Australia’s premier tourists precincts, where fine dining and fabulous retail pair with a magnificent outlook over Main Beach and Noosa National Park. They’re the perfect places to lace up your joggers, catch a wave or laze away an afternoon in surrounds so picture perfect it seems near impossible that they exist outside of a postcard.
Yet as you look through your holiday photos later, you’ll remember only too well their sights, sounds and scents. Then the only thought left will be how quickly you can return.
Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire home and pool throughout their stay
The Neighborhood:
Noosa is recognised as a UNESCO biosphere reserve, this chic coastal town is surrounded by bay, beach, National Park and river. Visitors to Noosa love to swim at Noosa Main Beach, surf the Noosa World Surfing Reserve, walk the Noosa National Park’s stunning forest and coastal trails or picnic as the sun sets over the hinterland behind the river mouth. Home to iconic Hastings Street, which is famous for its shopping and dining, Noosa’s main beach is lined with restaurants, cafes, bars and an eclectic array of boutiques, homeware stores, galleries, and surf stores.
Noosa Junction or as it is affectionately known by locals, ‘The Junga’ is a buzzing little village just over the hill from Hastings Street, ‘The Junga’ is home to a wonderful world of bars, restaurants, live music, coffee shops, fashion boutiques, laneways, night markets, street art and photo galleries.
With the Noosa River winding through its heart and river hire businesses dotted along its 2km of grassy foreshore, Noosaville is a lively centre of aquatic activities including swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and jet skiing. Restaurants, cafes and bars on both Gympie Terrace and Thomas Street, many with stunning views of the Noosa River, serve up tastes from around the world as well as contemporary Australian fare that cater to all tastes and budgets. Noosa ferry’s custom-built classic riverboats cruise between Hastings Street, Noosaville and Tewantin (Noosa Marina) with seven stops along the Noosa River with a one-way trip taking about 40 minutes.
Tewantin is a quiet, village-style suburb situated along the Noosa River from Noosaville which features a pedestrian-friendly main street renowned for its striking Poinciana trees showcasing vibrant orange-red flowers during the summer months. Originally established as a timber town and serving as the river port for the Noosa region, Tewantin is home to the vehicular ferry connecting to Noosa’s North Shore and Fraser Island, as well as the Noosa Marina, a hub for riverfront shops and restaurants, and host to weekly craft and produce markets.
Inland from Noosa and popular for day trips is the Hinterland where green valleys are dotted with cafes, galleries, vintage stores, markets and historic pubs. Known for their incredible natural beauty, the Noosa Hinterland is comprised of country towns including Eumundi, Cooroy, Pomona, Kin Kin, Cooran and is also home to the Noosa Everglades. One of only two everglades’ systems on Earth, the Noosa Everglades is a 60km stretch of pristine waters, magnificent flora and fauna and narrow waterways.
Heading south, locals and visitors alike love Peregian Beach for its laidback and chilled beachy vibe and its village square which is home to boutique stores, a host of restaurants, cafes and takeaways set under cool shady trees and its makers’ market held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday morning of each month.
