Perfect First Experience

Shirley has an amazing property with comfortable and welcoming home feel, great views, spots to sit and a nice pool. She is an awesome host and a super sweet lady, so glad I got to meet her and stay on the Mira. Hope to go back one day soon!

I am from Cape Breton, NS. I like meeting new people and I am well travelled. I lived overseas and enjoyed it very much. I like to garden, relax around the fire and spend time with family and friends. I very much enjoy baking, cooking and bbq's. I like to keep active and enjoy going to outdoor local concert, hearing our amazing local talent's from around the island.

Why they chose this property

It is a very upscales friendly neighborhood and close community in Marion Bridge, with local halls and events. The Mira Senior's Boat Club is also only minutes away from the property and they serve food and offer sailing lessons. I really enjoy the privacy of my property from May til November. We swim in the river and the pool throughout the hot weather. The river view is magnificent most days, watching eagles to geese fly by, is amazing. The two River's Wildlife park is 10 minutes away and has food services, fishing and music events.
Living "Out on the Mira" is peaceful, beautiful and only 15-20 minutes from the City of Sydney and the CB Regional Hospital. Come enjoy Mira River Retreat and visit our beautiful island today!

What makes this property unique

What makes it unique is the river view from both sides of my home (Thompson Narrow), privacy, swimming pool, no thru road, great neighbors and community.
