Winter in Muskoka! Centrally located to all winter activities, game rm, 6 beds
Just 2 hours north of Toronto this Muskoka cottage is the ideal 4 season getaway! Come enjoy beautiful Muskoka from this central; relax on your private dock and beach. Paddle around the lake in the kayaks, canoe, stand-up paddle board, or paddle boat. Fish. Go for a hike. Mountain bike on the trails. Have a campfire. Explore the quaint village of Port Sydney. Discover the local towns and the many activities Muskoka has to offer. Do nothing. Do everything. All seasons. All reasons.
The entire property, house and waterfront, (private waterfront is 70m down the road, 2 minutes walk) is all accessible and private for guests. This refreshed home boasts an open concept kitchen, dinning, and living room, perfect for entertaining and gathering together. The oversized master bedroom is it's own little oasis! A king size bed, spa inspired free-standing soaker tub, full-body massage shower, sitting area, and fireplace invite you to relax and unwind. The other two bedrooms offer queen sized beds, blackout curtains, ceiling fans, large closets and share a bathroom. The other private space features a queen bed, and two twin beds, blinds, fan, bathroom vanity and television.
For the children, there is a Pack N Play (plus change table and cradle accessories), 3 in 1 highchair, booster seat, plastic dishes, baby gate, games, and books. We provide all linens, bedding, and towels.
The whole family will enjoy the games room, challenge each other to a game of ping-pong, air hockey, or foosball! For large groups, there is a second fridge in garage.
Enjoy the back deck's covered dinning space.
Sit on the front porch and savor your morning coffee or evening cocktail while taking in the lake view.
In the evening, gather around the campfire, right in your backyard. We even left you marshmallow sticks for your smores!
The private waterfront is located a short 70m walk down the road. This little piece of paradise has everything you need; enough comfortable seating for all guests, sand, dock and swim ladder, paddle board, kayaks, paddle boat, canoe, floaties, dinning table, cozy gazebo, and incredible lake views!
At the end of the road, there is a snowmobile that provides access to all snowmobile trails in Muskoka and beyond; the trails are great for mountain biking, hiking, fat-biking and cross-country skiing.
At the beginning of the road, there is a public boat launch if you want to bring your own boat.
Close by, in the village of Port Sydney, you will find an old-time general store, playground equipment, beach volleyball court, large public beach, and a beautiful waterfall. There is a supermarket/LCBO, gas station, and hardware store conveniently located 5km away. About the host
Hosted by Marion
I am from Huntsville, and enjoy outdoor activities all year round. In the summer my favorite things to do are biking, paddle boarding, camping, and tennis. In the winter, I love cross-country skiing, snowboarding, fat biking, and snowmobiling. I look forward to helping guests fall in love with Muskoka, as I have!
Why they chose this property
I love this neighbourhood because it offers access to so many activities without going far. In the summer, the lake is perfect for all activities. There is little boat traffic, so it is safe for waterskiing and tubing. It is a small lake so it doesn't get very wavy, making it great for SUP, kayaking, and swimming. There is also very fun bass and pike fishing.
