Welcome to The Homestead, Your Home away from Home.

Staying in the quiet Serenity of the Country Side, with Close Proximity to some of New Zealand's most Beautiful Beaches. Whether you are after a day at the beach, bush walks, hot pools, or take the boat out for a fish or a water ski, the Lodge is your place to stay.

Waking up in the morning to the Tui Bird Songs, being able to have the sea 'peeps' from the windows while you make yourself a morning coffee, you can switch off and wind down in the glorious sun-coated decks and wonder what to do for the day, the options are endless!

2km down the road, you will find a concrete boat ramp to easily launch your boat to go for a fish or sea biscuit, or even shoot across the harbour to spend some time on Matakana Island.
Waihi Beach - 15 minutes - Beaches, Summer Markets, Bush walks (Orokawa Bay)
Bowentown (Anzac bay) - 15 minutes - Beach, Walk over the hill to private pay, Paddle board, Kayak
Katikati - 10minutes - Closest Amenities, Supermarket,
Tauranga - 40 minutes
Mount Maunganui - 45 minutes

Family treat

Wonderful property able to accommodate family coming and going. Great facilities, setup and space both inside and out. Easy location near Ongare point and just a short drive to wherever. Lovely memories made, thank you.
