Carlene’s Getaways began with a simple dream of creating a special place where my family could regularly escape the busyness of everyday life and enjoy the beauty, peace and slower pace of Loch Sport. I chose this property because of its stunning lake views, its unique location between Lake Victoria and 90 Mile Beach, and the incredible wildlife and nature that make this area so special. Since purchasing the home, I’ve continued to renovate and improve it, carefully adding the comforts and thoughtful touches that make every stay enjoyable. My hope is that every guest feels welcomed into a comfortable home, experiences the same sense of peace and connection with nature that my family does, and leaves with wonderful memories, feeling refreshed and looking forward to returning.

Loch Sport is a quiet, welcoming lakeside village — the kind of place where the pace slows down and the scenery does the talking.
Within a 3-minute walk you’ll find the lake foreshore, a local café for breakfast and brunch, a grocery store, and a playground for the kids. Everything you need for a relaxed stay is right on your doorstep.
When you’re ready to explore further, 90 Mile Beach and the Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park are just a short drive away — ideal for swimming, fishing, walking trails, and taking in some of Victoria’s most spectacular coastline.
