Come enjoy our classic white clapboard cottage on beautiful Silver Lake in Wautoma, Wisconsin! We have the best beach on the lake. Family owned for two generations, we take a great deal of pride in our vacation home while maintaining a cottage feel. New flooring throughout the first floor; new kitchen refresh with new countertops, sink, faucet and appliances, new LR furniture, we are constantly improving and updating each year.

Walk through to our expanded porch which will accommodate your whole party in the rain, or go farther to grill out on our deck and patio area in the sunshine. You will even be able to wake yourself up in our shielded outdoor shower with the morning sun. From there you can walk under mature maples and white pines to our waterside fire pit and fabulous sandy beach. Enjoy the crystal clear water of Silver Lake by walking far into the lake on a hard sand bottom or jump in from the end of our pier or off the raft. Or simply take a seat at the end of the white pier to watch the Bluegills and Yellow Perch swim at your feet and contemplate your serene and relaxing surroundings. Summer at its best. Our 7 bedroom cottage has provided many families with repeat summer vacations for almost 50 years. Through the years our cottage has evolved and changed to keep up to date but one thing that has never changed and that is that Marshall's Summer Place provides the warmest, coziest atmosphere, accommodations and surroundings for family vacations. The kind that the kids remember, the kind that turns up as the subject matter of a wedding toast and in all kinds of 'remember when' in the lake all day, swimming, sunning, building sandcastles, water skiing, jumping off the raft, fishing, at night watching the lightening bugs light, listening to the fireworks that burst throughout the whole summer, roasting marshmellows in the fire pit and telling each other the same stories over and over. Cousins bond and get to know each other and brothers and sisters and friends reconnect. How do we know this? We know this because we do it ourselves one glorious week each summer, then share the rest of our summer with you so you can create your own 'cottage memories.'

Our property definitely has the most awesome beach, great swimming, boating and fishing, but, when you tire of all can head on into Wautoma minutes away or other local towns for ritualistic shopping and eating at the many fun and delicious restaurants and eateries and shopping venues. We've all developed the same favorites through the years. You can golf or visit the fish hatchery, a local quarry, the list is endless.
