Loved This Condo

This condo had everything we needed. The parking is a little quirky but it was nice to have covered parking. The host and co-host were very nice and responded quickly. Would stay again.

We loved this condo! It was on the 33rd floor and had amazing views of the city (and a little of Lake Ontario). There are 2 beds, one day bed, and one fold-out couch, so it's suitable for a family. Underground parking, laundry, pool, and gym. There is a Rabba 24h food market a few min walk away. The host was excellent and ensured there was laundry soap, toiletries, and snacks.

We arrived to our destination sooner than expected. We were just going to kill time by wandering around the area until check-in time but our host Jas responded quickly. He was able to accommodate an earlier check in time for us. He met us, showed us where to park, walked us to our room and showed us where things are and how things work. There’s also a heated pool with jacuzzi, spa and exercise room on the 4th floor which we took advantage of. The condo has a fantastic view from the 25th floor. It had all the comforts of home. My mom is 80 years old and has some mobility issues. The condo was spatious enough for 3 adults and 3 kids while cozy enough where my mom felt safe with everything being close by for her to hold on. A shower mat was provided for extra safety. We all slept comfortably on the memory foam beds. I was impressed by how clean this neighborhood was and by how convenient everything is-bus station, shopping center, grocery stores, coffee shops, banks, etc are within walking distance. When I found out the coffee machine wasn’t working, I just texted our host, and he brought another the next day. In the meantime, Starbucks and Tim Hortons is just around the corner. All in all, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Location is great. Furniture ain’t.

Really nice host. Safe and secure location. Everything was clean but walls need paint and all cooking gear needs to be replaced. For such a Luxury price, they could spend $5K in paint and higher quality beds/couch (Costco, anyone?) and other furniture. Our backs will be grateful for a comfortable bed/couch back home. Oh, and make sure to ask where the building pool and workout room are located. There was no welcome package explaining anything other than a 4-line text with apartment's address and number, parking number, WiFi code. Then a text the night before reminding of checkout procedures (which were adequate). If location is only concern, this is your place!

Thank you for your review and for your kind comments about the location, cleanliness, and your experience with us as hosts. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the furnishings and comfort did not meet your personal expectations. Comfort is subjective, but we’ve intentionally furnished the condo with quality furnishings, Endy mattresses, and premium linens to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Many of our guests have specifically commented on the comfort of our beds and the overall quality of the accommodations. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the cookware and welcome information. Since your stay, we’ve updated our cookware and continued making improvements throughout the property to further enhance the guest experience. We’re always happy to assist guests during their stay, including providing directions to building amenities or answering any questions they may have. Thank you again for staying with us. We value all constructive feedback and remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest.

Not Quite What We Expected

The host communicated very well before, during, and after our stay. The site and parking was a bit confusing but he went above and beyond to make the check-in process easy and smooth. The host was very friendly and added little touches to our stay - giving us chips and drinks for the few days we were there. The place was very clean and had some nice newer furniture. Unfortunately we didn't feel that the VRBO listing was accurate. The listing stated 3 bedrooms but it was only two with a very tiny day bed in the corner of the entryway. We booked it because it said 3 bedrooms but our son ended up having to sleep on the couch because the 3rd bed wasn't in a bedroom and was located right next to the front door. There were sections of walls that needed repaired or repainted. The bathroom wasn't really updated and had issues. The tubs looked rough and really worn, making them look dirty; same with the countertops and vanity cabinet doors in the bathroom. We really couldn't use the balcony because the green carpet was all rolled up. Overall, we did not feel this was a "luxury" place as described in the listing. Again everything felt clean, and the host was incredibly kind and communicative. He did go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We just wish we knew about a few of these things ahead of time.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you appreciated our communication, the cleanliness of the condo, and the welcome snacks and drinks. We always strive to make every guest feel comfortable and well looked after. We’re sorry to hear that certain aspects of the property did not fully meet your expectations. We would like to clarify for future guests that our listing accurately describes the condo as having 2.5 bedrooms, with the half bedroom being an open den featuring a daybed, and this is also reflected in the listing photos. We understand that different guests may have different preferences regarding sleeping arrangements, and we encourage everyone to review the photos and description carefully before booking. Since your stay, we’ve continued investing in the property by completing cosmetic touch-ups, addressing maintenance items, and making additional upgrades to further enhance the guest experience. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback and for choosing to stay with us. We wish you and your family all the best.

Clean! High up in the building with a stunning view! Great TVs with all the best streaming services installed. Strong WIFI for all guests! Comfortable foam mattresses! This was the easiest and fastest check in and check out I’ve ever done on VRBO.My family and I are huge asian food fans and this area had our fill of great Chinese, Indian, Japanese, and Vietnamese restaurants.A few issuesKitchen and bath need updating, and far from downtown, but fit my tight budget during the busy season (June/World Cup). The tub in the master bedroom had peeling paint and dripped. There is a weird rectangular protrusion on the bottom of the tub to the left as if they painted over a sponge. The drain was broken, so the tub could not be filled. The shower head in the tub is stuck on a narrow stream, making it harder to shower. One towel bar was screwed into the drywall without the proper drywall mounting and came out.The hot tub (a big deal for American and European couples on vacation) on the fourth floor was unsatisfactory.People were using it as a splash pool for their small children, some wearing diapers. The water was filthy and not hot.In the USA and Europe, hot tubs are not for small children. Not a room issue, but give yourself plenty of time to get into Toronto by public transit or rent a car. Travel time is usually 1.5 hours via bus and subway. There is no express. The bus stops at every other block on the way to the subway. No other problems.

Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review. We’re so glad you enjoyed the cleanliness of the condo, the stunning views, the comfortable mattresses, the fast Wi-Fi, the streaming services, and that you found the check-in and check-out process so easy. We’re also happy you were able to enjoy the fantastic variety of nearby restaurants. We appreciate you bringing the maintenance items to our attention. We have addressed the towel bar and have our maintenance team inspecting the bathtub and shower to ensure everything is functioning properly. Feedback like yours helps us continue improving the guest experience. Regarding the building’s hot tub, we understand your disappointment. As this is a shared amenity managed by the condominium, we unfortunately don’t have control over how other residents and guests use it or how it’s maintained, but we do pass guest feedback along to building management. As for the location, while we’re not in downtown Toronto, many guests choose our condo specifically because it offers exceptional value, free parking, a quieter lakeside setting, and easy access to transit for those who prefer not to drive—especially during peak travel periods like the World Cup. Thank you again for staying with us. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your family back in the future.

Overpriced and Poorly MaintainedAt CAD 1700 for 2 night, I expected a well maintained property. Unfortunately, that was not the case.Bathroom issues were the biggest problem. The tub showed significant peeling/flaking of the surface coating, not just cosmetic, but a sign of serious neglect. The drain didn’t work properly, leaving standing water. A beat up old plunger stored next to the toilet suggests drainage problems are ongoing and known to the host. The bathroom countertop backsplash had visible chipping and cracking where it meets the wall — again, deferred maintenance.Kitchen cabinets were dirty and scuffed, with white residue and marks across multiple doors and panels. Not what you’d expect at this price point. The door in Image showed duct tape on the hinge area, a temporary fix that should have been properly repaired. The water cooler cord was also left running loosely along the baseboard, which is a minor but telling detail about the overall attention to upkeep.Bottom line: This listing is priced at a premium but maintained at a budget level. The non-draining tub alone made the stay uncomfortable. I would not return or recommend at this price.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. We take great pride in maintaining our property and appreciate guests who bring genuine concerns to our attention. However, we’d like to clarify a few points for future guests. The plunger provided in the bathroom is there simply as a convenience, as many hosts choose to do, and is not an indication of any ongoing plumbing issue. Likewise, there was no duct tape used as a repair to the door hinge, so that statement is inaccurate. Following your stay, we inspected the property, confirmed the bathtub drain was functioning, and addressed any routine maintenance items to ensure everything continues to meet our standards. We encourage guests to contact us during their stay if any issue arises so we have the opportunity to resolve it immediately. We remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for every guest, as reflected in the many positive experiences shared by others.

Tolle Wohnung in Mississauga
