We stayed here for three nights in July. The cabin’s location is ideal for visiting Algonquin, just a few minutes' drive from the east entrance. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. Situated by the river, the cabin features a lovely, spacious outdoor area with a fire pit. Unfortunately, the cabin itself was a bit of a letdown. The accommodation has great potential but felt somewhat uncomfortable to us because it wasn't fully finished (you could see insulation, pipes, and cables). Additionally, the cabin wasn't entirely clean; we found large, thick spiders (in plain sight) and dirty dishes in the cupboards. We also discovered that the water wasn't potable—information we would have liked to receive beforehand.Check-in went smoothly, and the sheets and towels we had reserved were provided. In summary: a good base for visiting Algonquin Park with plenty of potential, though there is room for improvement.
