My friends and I had a great time staying at this cabin is was cozy and perfect location for us to go hike and come back and play games! Definitely recommend staying here!
Very quiet remote home with everything we needed. The home was cozy and had lots of space. We were able to do some stargazing despite a tall light in the front yard. The host was very attentive, responsive and helpful.
The property was perfectly secluded for noisy kids! The closeness to Cumberland falls was just what we wanted. It was a perfect stop!

Beautiful setting!
We absolutely loved the nice big fireplace on the porch, the first day it rained and being under a covered porch we were able to enjoy a nice fire and a smore thank you for a well stocked kitchen and comfy beds!
If you are looking for a hand-built log cabin deep in the woods within 15-20 minutes of Cumberland Falls and Daniel Boone National Forest, this is your place. The beds are super comfortable, heating and air operate efficiently and the kitchen and coffee bar is well-stocked to provide your family/guests with home-cooked meals. Other than the cicadas serenading us during our stay, all we heard were birds.
Beautiful property kept in immaculate condition. Only needs a dishwasher. Other than that it was a wonderful stay. Really Nice.

Lovely, large spacious cabin!
The host was wonderfully responsive. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the kitchen well supplied. We were all sad to leave. The cabin is a home away from home. Thank you!
The driveway is a challenge due to some pretty big potholes and being steep with a sharp turn. We had an SUV so it wasn't too bad but a smaller vehicle might have struggled more. Other than that, everything was great. We didn't fully take advantage of all the outdoor space but it is really nice. The indoor space was nice and had everything we needed. There was plenty of linens. Everything was clean and nicely decorated.
Could not stay at the property. Was filthy. Dead bugs on top of the beds. Moldy toilet. Left immediately and paid for a last minute hotel room. Have messaged the property three times now and have received no responses. The house seemed like it hadn’t been entered in at least a month and no one cleaned before our arrival.
We just returned from our four-night stay at this lovely cabin. It was perfect for our group—two couples. The kitchen is stocked with many condiments, all the pots and pans you need, and a coffee bar!! There are several yard games for the kids or, in our case, the big kids. They supplied everything needed for our stay except a second hair dryer. This cabin is secluded but also close to everything. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.
We had a wonderful time and loved the seclusion, however the house was dirty when we arrived. We understand it is bug season but if we had to spend 3 hours cleaning the place, we should have been allowed to check in before 4pm.
While we loved the remote area, we felt exposed due to no curtains on the rear picture windows and the inability to deadbolt the back door.
My recommendation is that it be cleaned before guests arrive.

Rustic and remote
If you like rustic and remote, this is your place. Rustic means earthy smells and feels. Surprised to find hundreds of dead ladybugs in the floor and window seals in bathroom and bedrooms. Had to wear shoes to the bathroom at night. Very little lighting in bedrooms and bath. Downstairs bath counter space - none exist.
Remote means nice drive through narrow scenic roads, driveway a little washed out, nice and quiet with plenty of outdoor living.
We enjoyed our stay- thanks for providing plenty of towels.
The shower drain in the downstairs bathroom was completely plugged upon our arrival. We bought Draino and tried to unplug it but it still remains restricted. This made the shower basically unusable which was challenge for 5 adults in the house.
Bathroom mirror in upstairs bathroom is so dark I couldn’t see to put on my make up. Additional lighting definitely needed as well as some type of table and a nightstand in upstairs bedroom. There was nothing to put toiletries, hair items, jewelry on. I had to keep everything on the floor.

Quiet secluded cabin with a need for some maintenance
We enjoyed our recent stay at this cabin, which provided a nice remote getaway with a quietness only the outdoors can provide. The location was peaceful and there was ample and comfortable bedroom space. However, we did encounter a few issues that took away from the experience. The circuit for the back left bedroom was completely out, leaving us without lights or working outlets in that room. We also discovered that the deadbolt for the side door didn’t lock, though the handle did. Furthermore, there was little warning about the steep gravel driveway, which one of the cars had a hard time climbing. Unfortunately, it took a while for the host's management company to acknowledge these issues after we reported them, making the stay less than ideal. Overall, the property has great potential. With some timely updates and repairs, this could be a truly fantastic place to stay.
I have to start by saying that we arrived very shortly after a severe storm in the area, so our first impressions of the property were affected by that. The narrow road to the house had many fallen trees, the steep driveway was difficult for my sedan to climb, the power was down at the house, and we were unable to get cell service. By late evening power was restored and roads were being cleaned up, but internet service was hit or miss for a couple days. Without reliable cell service or internet, we were more disconnected than we had planned to be during that time.
The house and the property are beautiful and well stocked. I was impressed with the kitchen - it's one of the best stocked I've ever seen in a rental home. I found every tool I needed to cook a week's worth of meals for the family. The coffee bar was appreciated by all.
The house was full of little extras which we found ourselves in need of. There were also plenty of soaps, towels, blankets, etc so we didn't bother unpacking our own. The place really had all the conveniences of home.
The wrap-around porch and deck looking over the woods was everyone's favorite space. Once the roads were cleared after the storm, we realized we weren't so far from Whitley City (18 mins) where we shopped at a Kroger for groceries and filled cars up on gas.
Overall it's a great location and the house itself was quite comfortable. The family agreed that we would love to return to this cabin.
