Situated on a tree-lined street and a 5-minute walk to sandy beach, this summer home offers lovely entertaining spaces, an abundance of natural light and views of crystal clear Lake Huron — an ideal rental to share with family and friends.

Decorated in reds, whites and blues and an eclectic mix of antiques, quality linens and painted floors add to the charm of this well loved heritage cottage that brings guests back year after year.

Filled with antiques and hand-painted furniture discovered in local markets in and around Huron Country, these found pieces have been repurposed and paired with quality furnishings, crystal chandeliers and modern amenities creating beauty, warmth and function in this ultra-charming four season rental property.

A reputation for having the best veranda in Bayfield, this lovely outdoor space features beautiful big sky and blue water views of Lake Huron — a great spot to watch the boats coming and going on the Bayfield River and watch the night sky transform into blazing sunset shades.

Luxury mattresses, quality linens, lovely glassware and serving dishes, farmhouse-style vanities, 4 bathrooms (two showers and one soaker bathtub).

All within an easy walk from the cottage: swimming, sandcastle building, boogie boarding, kayak and paddle board rentals, fish off the pier, coffee shop, restaurants, boutiques, village brewery, ice cream shops (vegan options available) and THE most charming bookstore EVER.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Remove food and garbage (kitchen & bathrooms) & place in outside garbage bins. Roll garbage bins to the curb if your stay ends on a Sunday (or extends beyond a Sunday) — garbage collection is Monday.
Strip bedding and place in the blue laundry bags (laundry bags are in the closet of the bedroom with the king bed). Leave laundry bags in the garage.
Clean any dishes, turn off appliances & bedroom fans. Leave two sets of keys on the kitchen counter, lock doors and safe drive home.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
CHECKOUT - STRIP BEDDING: Put bed sheets/pillowcases in the blue laundry bags (in the closet of the bedroom with king bed). Leave laundry in garage.
CHECKOUT - GARBAGE and FOOD WASTE: Food waste, garbage and all bathroom waste must be placed in outside garbage bins.
CHECKOUT - DO NOT LEAVE DIRTY DISHES, PUT THINGS BACK IN PLACE: Put dishes, bikes, beach supplies, etc. back in their original location.
