Wonderful place with great location

We were in Durham due to a hospital stay at Duke University Hospital. The house was close to the hospital, clean, well-decorated and very comfortable. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. It was a wonderful place for us to rest and recharge.

Comfortable house

Comfortable house- beds awesome! Bathrooms great - need to leave extra toilet paper and tissue for those staying longer trips - kitchen well equipped but there was only one coffee and no cream/sugar. Family room cozy - loved the couch blankets!

Clean. Well organized. Convenient location to Duke University Hospital. On-street parking was never an issue. Nice neighborhood. Wifi was good. Theres only 1 TV in the house. No tv's in rooms, but if you have streaming servicesand a devixe you' all set.

Family Comfort

We visited our son who is in Durham for an internship this summer. He had been staying in student housing so we knew he would want to stay with us. I was so happy to provide an aesthetically pleasing, comfortable, homey place for him to relax and enjoy some comforts of home. The kitchen is stocked with everything necessary to make home-made meals. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The updated bathrooms were great. We appreciated the decoration and amenities that made it feel like a vacation home not just a place to stay. Although it was not a walkable area, it is close to Duke and downtown Durham so it was easy to get around and pop on the freeway. All in all it was perfect for what we needed.

house in Durham review

The house was very clean and well accommodated, the property manger was very quick to respond. There was an issue with the air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms and they promptly installed window units to correct the issue. The only issue we had was there was a neighbor behind the house that kept his large dog outside in a doghouse and it barked most of the night. This was very annoying and made it difficult to sleep. Not sure what the owner/property manger can do about this. It's hard to believe that people still treat their dogs like this.
