We had a lovely time. The house was amazing, the wild life was all around. Little duckies and kangaroos everywhere. The house was so beautiful and sitting in the spa at night with the fairy lights was so lovely 10 out of 10

Great country getaway. Bush nearby for relaxing bush walk, cosy fire and relaxing spa. Media room was great to watch the footy and relax at end of a busy day.

What an amazing place to stay...this property has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Beds and couches are so comfortable as well.Close to Trentham to go for a relaxing pub meal. I couldn't recommend this place enough A.We loved it

We were met with a fire already burning in this lovely house. The grounds are simply stunning, the beds very comfortable, and outdoor under covered area inviting with comfortable lounge and large table and heaters. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed our meals around the very large bench.All our needs were seen to straight away by the friendly staff.I will recommend this stay highly.

My family and I stayed at Spring Hill country retreat in the lead up to my son‘s wedding. What an amazing stay, this home is gorgeous and has everything you’ll need.The fire pit was a highlight… beds were comfortable.Hope to go back one day to just relax and enjoy all the amenities this home has to offer.

Beautiful group getaway

The house and surroundings were beautiful. We enjoyed such a relaxing getaway surrounded by trees and wildlife, keeping cozy by the fire indoors and outdoors and enjoying the (huge) spa bath. We wished we stayed for longer!

Beautiful property

We had a lovely 5 day break, girls trip. The spa was the best we have experienced in all our trips. The fire pit was great too. Very clean home with everything we needed. We will be booking again down the track.

Its was great. Comfortable bed is always a plus. The spa was huge. The surrounds were beautiful. A resident kangaroo on the property who didn't bother anyone just kept to himself laying around or munching. The fire was lovely with plenty of wood to keep it hoing for days. Kitchen well equipped. Very good over all!

Great place for a weekend away

The house was beautiful and spacious with a lovely outdoor area and various amenities including a jacuzzi, fire pit, streaming services and even a telescope. We had everything we needed for the weekend in this comfortable home away from home. The hosts were very welcoming and provided lots of information and recommendations which was lovely. We definitely recommend others to stay at this property.

Peaceful retreat in gorgeous location

Restful and enjoyable stay over the Melb Cup weekend, plenty of room for three couples and one big dog. We loved the garden, the bird life, the fire pit and the spa. Inside the fireplace was very welcome and cosy, and the coffee machine with pods was a bonus. A few concerns re cleanliness of the kitchen but overall it was fine, and the other rooms were clean.

Winter friend’s getaway

The property is stunning, house perfect for a group of friends to wine, dine and golf the local area. The house was clean, the fire warm on arrival and the large outdoor spa ready and hot on arrival. We will certainly stay there again in the future. The host Chris was very thoughtful and easy to communicate with.

A beautiful peaceful stay

This is a beautiful property. We stayed for 2 nights with our adult children and our dog, to celebrate Christmas in July. The house is very spacious, with several living spaces, inside and out. We enjoyed the wood heater and the fire pit outside. A lot of thought has gone into equipping this property and I doubt you'll want for anything. A very peaceful stay, so lovely among the trees.

Stay with friends

Brilliant property, very well maintained. The location is nice and secluded, yet quite close to Daylesford and its amenities. The hot tub didn’t disappoint either and we also watched a movie in the lounge/cinema room. The outdoor area is covered and we had a BBQ on Christmas Day even though it was raining. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this place again. Oh and there’s a piano in the house too - just needs a bit of tuning!

Nice n quiet. Expected a bit more room with media room. N cleanliness of sheets.

My impression was ok. I expected a lot more but what we had was ok. There could have been more cleaning equipment and coackroaches on sheets could have been evaporated

Hi Rachael, The photo you showed us was of a cricket not a cockroach and we pointed that out to you, so I am not sure why you would continue with that story knowing it isn't true. We were really disappointed in the mess you left behind, with food all over the floor, cigarette butts all through the gardens and alfresco, grubby fingerprints and dog slobber on most windows and glass doors, blood and dirt stains on linen, wet pillow and doona, plus the spa water needed changing.
