However, I'd like to clarify that we have uploaded over 38 pictures disclosing multiple room angles so that guests know exactly what is being offered. We believe that you saw all the pictures before booking; we put extra effort into being transparent and displaying exactly how the seating is arranged in the listing pictures. We did not deceive you by showing you more and offering less. You had the opportunity to decide whether our property would meet your needs. Regarding the master bedroom, no one has complained about the mattress before; you are the first. Perhaps if you had looked carefully, you would have noticed that all the furniture in our property is brand new. Additionally, we do not appreciate you passing judgment on our renovations. We invested over $250k in renovating top to bottom with premium products that took over 1.5 years to complete. We handpicked and designed our home with love and passion; it is disheartening for us to hear when our efforts and hard-earned money are disrespected. You rented our place for 2 nights for $686, which is the exact amount to us from VRBO. Considering the property's value of $1.5M in a lovely lake community, we believe it offers great value for money. Perhaps next time, you should compare the rates of hotels accommodating five guests to understand the value proposition better. Guests like you are the ones who discourage homeowners from hosting and assisting guests that are in need of a home away from home by disrespecting their homes. Furthermore, I would like to remind you of the state in which you left the property; it was very messy and one glass was broken. Despite this, we still gave you a five-star rating by justifying that you paid to stay and that small losses are part of this business. We kindly request that any future guests reading this review, who have a similar demeanor as Paul, refrain from renting our house. We strive to go above and beyond for our guests; we run this property as a dedicated short-term rental to offer the best possible experience to our guests.
