Where the mountains meet the sea in Valdez, Alaska is where you’ll find Klondike Cottage. Klondike Cottage is a cozy and inviting home located down a modest cul-de-sac in town. The home is a short walk to the grocery store, gas station, pool, play ground, Wellness Center, main street, the Small Boat Harbor, Museums, Shops and Restaurants.

The bright and modern Alaskan decor and cozy furnishings will make you smile as you walk in and check out the rest of house, and look forward to settling in and beginning your vacation! After a fun filled day fishing and sightseeing on the ocean, hiking or skiing some of our amazing trails, or skiing and snowboarding at Thompson Pass, you'll happily retire to your comfortable home away from home. Everything you'll need to enjoy your vacation is in the home and well-maintained for your comfort. Couples or families- this home is fully equipped for long stays or short trips.

The Neighborhood:
Klondike Cottage is located on a cul-de-sac with a mix of mobile and stick-built homes. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, and a nice playground and park area at the end of the cul-de-sac, perfect for families!

The Space:
Our 3 bedroom/2 bath home sleeps 5 (+) people. Available for your use is a pack n play and two 6" tri-fold mattresses; twin and queen, with platform frames. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make simple or gourmet meals. Klondike Cottage also has a large chest freezer available for guests to store their catches from Prince William Sound! Like virtually all homes in Alaska, we do not have A/C, however, we have provided fans for guests to use, and may provide additional fans upon guest request.

1st Time in Alaska

We would definitely stay again at this location. My wife and I took her 80 year old mother, her 70 year old Aunt and Uncle on their bucket list without complications. Enjoy your stay.

They were very responsive! It’s a nice house but the house wasn’t cleaned when we came in. They did come over that night to clean it. There was some water heater issues, aside from that, we like the house and location.

Amazing house - perfect location

Finding lodging can be tough in Valdez so we turned to VRBO and ended up woth an amazing spot. Spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room. All well decorated. Overall amazing experience.

The property has every amenity we had wanted. Wonderful water pressure in the showers even with both going at the same time. Easy to find and close to necessities. check in and out process was easy and fast. Will definitely stay there again the k you for making our stay so comfortable.

Great location, perfect 3 bed 2 bath, large well stocked kitchen. Very clean and updated excellent beds. Close to restaurants and grocery store. I would recommend renting and we will return when traveling to Valdez.

Such a GREAT home!

Beautiful home, so warm and welcoming. The table was big enough so we could eat dinner together. We could also all sit in the livingroom at the same time! The house was well stocked and nicely decorated. It was an absolute pleasure staying there!
