Great weekend getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We made a last minute booking decision and opted to stay in New Town for this visit. Sunrise Suite Resort was a perfect choice for our weekend. We shared the space with friends. Clean, well kept, full of all the necessary amenities for a long weekend. The management company was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We would happily consider staying here again and again. We would also recommend this place to others. 15 minute drive from Duvall Street.

This location was great close to the beach and other amenities. Only took a few minutes to get to Duval street and other major areas. Pool and hot tub are really nice. Washer and dryer in the unit is great.

Our first Key West vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We filled our week with as much seafood as we could eat, took several boating excursions and the guys took a couple of smaller fishing charter trips. The eco mangrove kayaking and Butterfly House were fun too! Just plan on paying for parking whereever you go.

This property is okay, but the communication with the manager was terrible and the unit was not ready when we arrived. Also, do not rent this unless you are very comfortable driving in St. John on one-lane but two-way streets.

The unit was clean except for the floors. I had new slipper socks ( did not wear shoes past the entry) and they got very dirty. Balcony and view is very nice. The washer and dryer are convenient. Beds are comfortable. Internet service was good. My big complaint is dealing with the property management company before check-in. I noticed another renter’s review had complained about it. You’ll get emails from 2 different parties. One of them will not read your replies. Then a third party will contact you via VRBO and threaten to cancel your reservation because you didn’t reply. You will send a copy of the email that you sent and she’ll say “oops” Then, the rental company will send you communication and act like the other people that have been contacting you don’t exist. They will also tell you that the damage insurance you paid for on VRBO is accepted but the written contract they send you states that you must buy their insurance not the VRBO insurance. Once on-site the key pad check- in and parking is easy. There are luggage carts by the elevators. Uber drivers and DashDash are familiar with the building. There are several condos available at this location. If you can find one that is not managed by the same company go for that one.

Nice place but clunky process

The unit is clean and comfortable, with nice amenities like AC, washer / dryer, dishwasher.Booking is a bit clunky. You would think the Vrbo confirmation is the end, but it’s just the beginning.The property manager reached out with a separate contract. This included additional fees for travel / damage insurance - these could be declined but a 1000 deposit would be charged. The Adobe form didn’t work well and collected credit card info insecurely. The whole ordeal took a couple days so my booking felt in limbo until that was done. The manager provided all the info needed electronically. And was quite responsive by text.The only other issue was check out. With a steep cleaning fee and a no-exception 10am checkout “to turn the property over”, I didn’t expect to be sent a to do list (run the dishwasher, take out trash, etc).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is THE place to stay on the 's a well appointed home away from home! We faced the Salt Ponds, and enjoyed bird watching. The airport is also there so we enjoyed watching the different planes take off and land. 10/10 We'll be back again!
