House was clean and comfortable. Emily was excellent to respond to issues. Minor stuff. Parking smaller than pictures but we brought a 22 ft pontoon along with 3 large vehicles. View is awesome. Would definitely love to come back to this home. Thanks for sharing your lake house. Blessed.

Fabulous Cabin with views and amenities

Our family had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful cabin. I love that it is so family friendly and we could include our older yellow lab- he was excited to get to go! Our grandchildren loved the play area. Easy to get to Mitchell Creek Marina and thankful they will rent a weekend slip. Highly recommend a stay here and we have already booked another weekend!

Annual Family Dale Hollow Vacation

This home is beautiful with amazing views! Very clean and a perfect location to launch at Horse Creek Marina. Lots of games, books and toys for the kids. The driveway is a little tight if you are towing a boat but can be backed in with multiple cars as well. The house has everything you need for a perfect family vacation.

The cabin is exceptionally well-appointed and offers a truly relaxing atmosphere. One of its most standout features is the breathtaking view overlooking Dale Hollow Lake, which creates a peaceful and scenic backdrop throughout the stay. Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the natural beauty surrounding the property makes for a memorable experience. In addition to the view, the cabin itself is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The amenities provided contribute to a convenient and enjoyable stay, making it suitable for both short visits and longer getaways. The setting offers a perfect balance of privacy and accessibility, allowing guests to fully relax while still feeling at home. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely consider staying here again in the future.

The hot water in the kitchen sink never got hot. The last two days of our stay there was no hot water for showers. Was a little sad that there was no lake access, or a hot tub something where it’s so far from the lake. Overall the cabin was beautiful just felt the price was high not to be able to have hot showers, and dishwashing in hot water for a week long stay. My nephew attempted to play the play station in the basement and it has stick drift so he couldn’t use it.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you found the cabin beautiful, though we're truly sorry to hear you experienced issues during your stay. We wish we had known about the hot water concerns while you were at the cabin. Had you contacted us, we would have sent someone out immediately to resolve the issue quickly. The cabin was built less than five years ago, and this is the first time we have had any issue with hot water. The issue was a reset button on the water heater that had to be flipped back on. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay, so we have the opportunity to make things right. Regarding the amenities, our listing does not advertise a hot tub or direct access to the lake. The cabin is located on a scenic mountain top with lake views, and because the surrounding shoreline is owned and managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, there is no private access to the lake. The controller has been replaced on the PlayStation.

Annual fishing trip.

Very nice cabin. For anyone traveling here with boats to fish you must back down the long drive. Do not pull in. There is no turnaround.

Great Family Vacation!

Our family had an amazing visit at this beautiful cabin! The kids loved the nature all around; collecting frogs and lizards the whole week! The basement had so many fun games and toys and video games for the children as well! The kitchen was fully stocked with lots of cooking supplies,(for someone who loves to cook, this was a major bonus!) I felt like I was at the spa with the steam room shower, and the space and comforts available were unlike anything I’ve experienced before with other rentals! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home!

Gabrielle - thank you so much for the kind words on the cabin. I know I have been on a lot of lizard, frog, butterfly and anything else that move’s expeditions with our grandkids. Thanks again and hope to host you and guests in the future.

Independence Day weekend with family

Our family had a great time at the house. LOVED the sunsets and the lakeview! It was our first time at Dale Hollow Lake and we loved it. Water is awesome and it was easy to put our boat in at Horse Creek marina. Small marina but it served its purpose, everyone there was nice and helpful. The house still smells like new and gave us plenty of space for our family. We lost electricity during the night and we were so glad to have the back up generator, it kicked in right away and kept everything going. Thank you to the owners, you have a little piece of lake paradise to host family memories! We enjoyed celebrating our 4th of July weekend there.

Family Fun & Fishing

Over the long Memorial Day weekend, our family and dogs stayed at this beautiful, scenic cabin in Celina. We chose the location because of the proximity to Dale Hollow Lake to fish, the property being pet-friendly, and how relaxing the cabin photos looked. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the property. The kitchen had all the needed appliances and we loved the big, family-size farm table. By far, the favorite amenity was the steam shower in the master bath. We did experience severe weather during our stay that affected the property. However, the property manager and homeowner were able to continuously communicate with us and address any questions or concerns we had. This was a great getaway to relax at and enjoy the lake. If you plan to bring a boat, highly recommend renting a slip at Mitchell Creek Marina (about 10-15 mins away) and you can park your trailer there as well. We hope to come back again for another family and fishing trip!
