Bedrooms with NO storage
We booked for a week but did not stay at all because whilst all three bedrooms are described as Queen sized, two of them have oversized sleigh beds that took up almost the entire floorspace … with a single bedside table as the only storage - nowhere for cases or contents of the cases to be stored. Clothes would have to be stored on the dining table or lounge. The master bedroom had a desk in the corner with a lamp - but no PowerPoint close enough to the bed for a light or charger. There were only two utensils in the kitchen. We did not stay here and were told we had no right to any partial refund because the bedrooms were as described on the Stayz website and the photos we submitted matched those on the site (which they did not - they showed more clearly there was no storage out of shot). I have never stayed anywhere with no storage in the bedroom - until now this has been an assumed amenity. Despite multiple phone calls and emails with the company behind Stayz we did not get any recognition of our complaint. None of us will ever use Stayz again - and I would only stay at Cindy’s place if you are happy to keep your clothes and belongings in the open plan living area.
