This is our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful as the first time. So clean, great location, all necessary amenities to make the stay stress free. Great people who operate this rental. See you next year for sure :)
Everything was excellent with our stay! The serenity and beauty of the property was relaxing and peaceful. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We are looking forward to coming back again!
Beautiful forest setting and quiet atmosphere. Brian was very accomodating and a warm and friendly host. Perfect Christmas getaway for my wife and I and our two adult kids!
Great place for our group to stay during a multi-day regatta at Dexter Lake. Off the beaten path, quiet, well-stacked with what we needed, and spacious. Brian was a friendly, responsive host!
Had a wonderful stay at the cabin, everything you need is there. Very peaceful and quiet, beautiful stary nights. Was a great place to come and unwind after working.
Everything was great.... We had trouble with temperature of stovetop and oven, but we got everything done. We didn't use music room or hot tub. We loved the views relaxing environment. Thank you very much.
Brian an Elizabeth have a wonderful home they share. They are way to get a hold of and quick to help its you need it. At the same time, the area is so quiet you wouldn't even know they are just next door. A great place for a relaxing weekend to unplug and enjoy a slow pace.
We had a delightful time here. It fit all seven of us adults and kids comfortably. The owners, Brian and Beth, greeted us at the property and gave us a run-through on the amenities (like the hot tub, pellet stove, musicians' room and more). When my SIL realized she had no thyme for a dish, I sent a text to the owners inquiring and they graciously shared some from their home. And the stars at night! A wonderful time thanks to wonderful hosts.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday, and needed a home that was close to my family and lowell. This was perfect. My family was very curious about the rental home in their backyard and came to visit.
Our host was wonderful. He stopped by to see how we were getting along and had a pleasant conversation. Definitely plan to send referrals.
Pros:
This property was really beautiful and offered a lot to do nearby. A 2-minute drive to a campground area where you can paddle board and kayak. An 8-minute drive to a beautiful swimming hole with a small waterfall and clear water. The hot tub was of great quality, the property was wonderful and clean. The host was really kind and genuinely great to be around and chat with. The house has the potential for 4 roughly queen beds and 3 bigger couches making this a great place to have plenty of guests.
Cons:
The TVs were really small, the wifi was unstable, and the showers were small.
This cabin was a perfect retreat for my adult sons and us for my 50th birthday. Brian was wonderful to communicate with and the house was warm and ready on time. The drive there around the lake is beautiful and the partially gravel paved road was in great shape, with no potholes. It is a 20-minute drive to the small town of Lowell so be sure to take everything you need with you. We are looking forward to taking a summer trip up there and exploring all around. Thanks for sharing your home with us Brian.
The property was amazing, beautiful, serene. Brian and Elizabeth are really respectful hosts with a unique vacation experience. The music room was a huge bonus. Fishing was awesome, but the catching was lacking!
What an amazing property, clean, huge, very considate owners (who messaged me anytime they needed to do anything on the property before coming), it's secluded close to a swimming hole I used to go to when I was younger and lived in the area. Close enough to everything we needed to have a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend to anyone, with kids, no kids, girls weekend, perfect for pretty much anyone who loves nature, but wants the comforts of home as well. Thank you again.
