This place definitely has the WOW factor. Superb for a group of friends or family. Everything you need just not enough time to enjoy all the toys and outdoor area, BBQ, kayaks and paddle boards, jetty etc.Great walks around lake. QuIet and private. Fabulous for entertaining.

Belated 50th Family Getaway

The location is stunning, with an absolutely beautiful lakeside home. The entire house has been 100% set up for everyone no matter what age, weather conditions etc can have fun

Fabulous Family Stay

We had the full family stay - one grandmother, three adult children, their spouses and kids ranging from 3-16. It was perfect! Lots to do, stunning surrounds, hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards - the games room was a hit! So peaceful. Thank you, it was just what we wanted!

Home from home.

Te Tauraka was perfect for our family. We had a wedding nearby at Longfords and were able to organize the grooms party, and welcome friends and family as if it were our own home. We loved the access to the lake. There was everything we needed. I recommend this house highly to large groups and families.

We expected the property to be immaculate inside and out as it was shown on the listing, however, upon arrival the house felt like it had been closed up for a very long time with the outdoor living areas very dirty and we had to clean them all before we could use them. The fireplaces inside and outside had not been cleaned out. There were 2 mice in the games room. The spa was dirty and hadn’t been working for some time. We had to empty and clean it and refill it before we could use it. The house accommodated our group very well, we were just disappointed with the condition of the outside.
