We loved staying there. It was pretty (with adorable vintage kitchen), clean, comfortable, and with amenities listed. Sherry was responsive to our questions. The location was close to Redwoods National Park.Everything went smoothly.We would enjoy staying there again.

Very comfortable, well equipped & nice decor & amenities. Location so convenient for exploring the Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, Fern Canyon, Elk Meadows & Lady Bird trails. The delicious surprise of warm homemade bread was delightful! It was perfect for our hiking trip! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the little blue cottage. It was an excellent home base for exploring the Redwoods State and Nat’l Parks. The home was perfect for the two of us, clean, quiet, well appointed, super comfortable beds, great shower and laundry facilities. Decor is cute and functional. We would recommend to others traveling to this gorgeous part of the country.

Perfect Home Base for Redwood Hikes

We had a great stay in Orick! You really can't get closer to the park. It was a very short drive to everything we wanted to do, including all of the top redwood hikes and the lagoon/beach for the sunset. The house was clean and had all the basic necessities, and we were even greeted by some homemade bread when we arrived. The Wi-Fi worked great, and we made use of the TV and the provided board games. We also loved that Mojo Pizza was within walking distance—we went there twice during our stay!

We stayed here as a base point for exploring Prairie Creek Redwoods Park and Trinidad. Darling little cottage. If there are just a few of you; don't let the size of the property scare you off. They've packed a "big punch" into a small space. Very comfy.

This cottage was beautiful. It was in a perfect location and the owners took great care in the details. The decor, available storage, and amenities for us were fantastic. There was fresh baked bread for us, coffee, pots and pans, a washer/drier, and comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location/ adorable cottage

We had a wonderful 6 day stay in this adorable cottage. It has everything you need and is in a great location if you want to go from Trinidad to Beaches to Redwood State Parks. The owners are lovely, thoughtful and welcoming. We had a great stay!

Delightful Cozy Cottage

We truly enjoyed our stay in the little blue house. It is decorated very nicely and quite functional. The location in Orick was great for all the hikes we wanted to do. Ed and Sherry were friendly and helpful. It was a perfect stay for us. Outstanding cottage and location. Thank you!!

Perfect Location for Redwoods visit

This was a great place to hang with my family of 4 when not enjoying the outdoors. We did have 2 minor hiccups that just were out of the control of the host. The beds are very comfortable and the basic kitchen needs are all there with a few unexpected extras (coffee additives and condiments in the fridge). Frisco the dog was a very pleasant surprise.

We had the best stay EVER! The owners went above and beyond in every way! The place was pristine and had every amenity and then some! They thought of everything! The beds and bedding were super comfy, the bread that was waiting for us was so appreciated! Super great experience!

Clean and Cozy

If you're going to the redwoods the site is perfectly located. The cabin was extremly clean. Everything you need away from home. Comfy beds, which was a pleasant surprise.

Our new fav place to stay when chilling in the redwoods. Cottage was comfortable, very clean, well equipped, decorated cutely, quiet - I could go on and on but you get the idea. Although we did not meet the hosts, they think of everything including homemade bread. Although it is right off 101, we did not think it was loud. Thank you- we will return.

Perfect to see the beaches and redwoods

This was a great place for the price and what we were looking to do… be outdoors, hike, and explore the beeches. It was nice to come back to this clean cottage and comfortable beds. Not a lot of amenities in town and the grocery store does not have much ( I bought eggs and they were bad) We went to Trinidad for groceries instead but the local Pizza was great.

Gorgeous

This is an amazing place, literally 2 min to the Redwoods and 2 minutes to the beach. The house was cute and the neighborhood was quiet. The walking path along the river was nice and had beautiful wild flowers growing along both sides. We ordered a pizza from the local pizza place that was really good. We will definitely come back
