I've stayed with "Dolly" before. Everything inside the apartment shows extra care & thoughtfulness. First time I stayed was during the summer months but this time was during the school year & some younger (college?) girls had rented another unit on the same floor. They unfortunately had some friends over and partied until about 3:30. If you're a heavy sleeper, this may not be a concern. I had the air conditioning, a fan and a sound machine going and still heard that hallway door slam multiple time, loud voices in the hall and people talking very loudly outside in the outdoor area. I finally got to sleep around 4:00. A beer bottle and red solo cup welcomed us outside the next morning.
And the outside of the property needs some love and attention. If you have any issues with walking, beware of the narrow stairs which need some TLC. Shrubs and anything growing outside just looked neglected and overgrown.
The single key to enter the hallway is really tough to get out of the box for this unit...you'll either need to sit or kneel down to enter the numbers. It's a single key with nothing attached but if you lose it, you'll be locked out & have a fine. Surely, there's a better way to do that.
Again, the inside of the unit is cute & thoughtful. I felt safe and felt like I had an apartment but overall, it's probably not going to be my top choice next time....we just may be more 'hotel people'?
The room was very clean and quiet. I had no issues with the building. I did not feel the area was really very safe for walking to some of the nearby breweries and restaurants. However, it was not a big deal for me to drive to those places.
